The Conversion Kings

Lory, Geoff and Steve recently converted our attic into an en suite bedroom. They did an absolutely amazing job. They worked very hard to ensure the project was completed as planned. Their attention to detail was excellent and the final product was of a really high standard. Their communication was very good, keeping us in the loop at all times. And they were very accomodating (and tolerant!) of our two young children. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

We recently had an extension built on our house by Lory, Jeff and Steve at the Conversion Kings and are so happy with how it’s turned out, we can’t imagine our home without the extra space.Initially we got a quote because a neighbour had a loft conversion and gave a glowing review of TCK. Lory quoted (and followed up which is rare for a tradesman!) then helped every step of the way in what was new territory for us including drawings and planning permission.The build itself was done in what we felt was a crazy quick time (2 months), we were only held back by the extreme heat (for rendering) and us not organising interior decorators earlier.Throughout the project, Lory and Jeff worked with us to make sure we were happy with everything including all snagging after the project ended and all sun contractors were professional throughout.If we ever need the extra space for a loft conversion, we won’t hesitate to use these guys again and would thoroughly recommend.

We had a loft conversion done by the Conversion Kings and I couldn’t recommend them enough - the quality of the work was excellent, they kept us informed of progress throughout and clearly took pride in their work. They also kept the rest of the house super clean and tidy and were very considerate throughout.

We are carrying out an extensive refurbishment of our Village Hall and contracted The Conversion Kings to replace the exterior cladding. Lory, Jeff and Steve have transformed the exterior using Cedral Board cladding. They were chosen because we required the work to be carried out to the manufacturers' specification and they were agents for this type of cladding. They carried out the task professionally and correctly over a period of around a month and at all times were polite and courteous.Would we recommend them? Lory and his team converted my double garage into a bedroom with an en-suite and replaced my leaking conservatory roof with a flat roof and integral roof lantern.From our initial meeting till the final completion the team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them even after our multiple changes from the original design.I can not rate them highly enough, their workmanship and their professionalism is outstanding, especially in the trying times of the corona virus.No job is too small or any inconvenienceThanks for a fantastic job Lory, Jeff and Steve.

Very happy with my integral garage conversion. I now have two very useful rooms (utility & office) which will be nice and cosy in winter.Lory was very helpful and answered my numerous queries throughout the project, keeping me informed of progress and the plan of various trades coming in to do their part.Everything has been completed to a high standard and Lory even went the extra mile getting everything done for my intended completion date and helping out with finishing my laminate floor off (when my fitter couldn't complete it as i didnt order enough boards).Overall great service, communication and good value given the amount of work that goes into these projects.

From start to finish The Conversion Kings have been excellent. The quote was quick, was competitive and was good value for money. The work was up to a high standard with everything explained, thought through and talked through. Lory, Jeff and Steve were all great to work with as were their high quality sub-contractors (Electricians, Plasters, Removal Men, Plumbers and Kitchen Fitters). Not once did I have to project manage, The Conversion Kings took care of everything. They turned a dirty old garage into a stunning utility that added nothing but value to our house and another room we didn’t think was possible. Can’t recommend enough. So many people we spoke to either didn’t follow through on quotes or wanted us to project manage and sub-contract ourselves. If you want a high quality job without the hassle then these are the guys to call.

Conversion Kings have just completed a partial garage conversion to a very high standard for us.Excellent, professional, clear communication from the first meeting. Detailed quote provided, re-supplied with our revisions. They also handled all the building regs /inspections.Extremely tidy and considerate, completing the work on the days advised. We hardly knew they were here - which was important with a new born in the house.Fully recommended!

The Conversion Kings converted our existing garage into a garden room and separate 'man cave'. They were fantastic. Reliable, very tidy, tolerant of my curious children and thoughtfully solved every problem as it arose. The quote was accurate and they have done a great job. They listened to everything that we needed and have transformed the way we use our outdoor space. I cannot recommend them enough.

Lory and Jeff (supported by Steve) did a fantastic job in building an attic conversion for us. From initial consultation to final product, they managed the project professionally, including organising other trades and liaising with us throughout.We have a truss roof, which I understand makes this a complicated job. They organised for a steel to support the structure, and the carpentry was first class - its a stronger structure now than the original roof! We had a velux put in the front and a dormer at the back, with an en-suite too.. The photos don't really do it justice but it gives you an idea..Throughout the job, they were a pleasure to have around and they always tidied up after the day's work and really did all they could to minimise disruption. The trades they used were also of a high quality - from electrician and plumber to outstanding plaster work.They were flexible, and were willing to go with us if we wanted to make minor changes as we went along with our project, and asked us questions if they had queries. But they managed the project well without us having to get too involved.We now have a stunning room in our attic, completed to the highest quality finish and at the best value around that we could find. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do any building/conversion/commercial work. Thanks so much Lory, Jeff and Steve - you did an amazing job!
