Autoglass Peterborough

After a 3 week wait, windscreen was replaced and safety systems calibrated. Warning lights came on an hour later. Technician booked for Tuesday, couldn't find a fault. Today, lights came on again and after a bit of hunting about found that the screen has not been fitted correctly. Wiper and light sensors standing proud of the screen with a huge lump of sealant, how the technician missed this on Tuesday is beyond me. Complaints dept have yet to respond after a week.Edit: turns out that this clump of sealant is because the wrong windscreen was fitted knowingly by the original technician. Warranty technician wasn't qualified to do the job when he came out.

Interior rear view mirror dropped off.Popped into my local Autoglass and a very kind and helpful gentleman glued the mirror back on for me. Thank you so much Autoglass, you really saved my day.Great service, great staff and so helpful.

Paid money over the phone, all good and polite when they take your money off you first, before work completed, car booked in for replacement windscreen, on arrival, staff member comes out to look at windscreen, and then tells me WE MIGHT NOT HAVE THAT ONE IN STOCK!!!Ill check he says, then tells me IM LUCKY WE HAVE ONE IN..LUCKY!! How am I lucky, same old story, take your money first, then shocking service.Asked for a refund and the same staff member said I COULDN'T have one.Then the manager issued a refund, and I'll take my business elsewhere.Avoid this site, no customer care at all.

My rear view mirror, on a 17 year old car, just fell off the screen tried all kinds of glues that were expensive for the specific problem but as soon as I tried putting the mirror on the base, it was very heavy and all would fall off, every time! I did not know where to go and service garage suggested I go to Autoglass. It was the best advice, I could have been given. Staff professional, prompt, and very helpful. Mirror back on, good as new! Thank you.

Read this before using Autoglass: it’s incredible. We had a rear windscreen replacement using Autoglass. The guy who did it damaged our bodywork quite badly, and lied about it. Fortunately we’d taken before and after pics that proved he’d lied. Autoglass apologised and paid for it to be put right, although the new paint finish is very poor. They said they’d refund our £75 insurance excess as an act of good faith. This never came. I’ve now called THREE times to chase this up and each time they say ‘oh yeah we’ll make sure it’s paid’. Still nothing. That was over five months ago. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. It’s absolutely unbelievable. Might be the worst customer experience I’ve ever had with any company.

Very positive experience. (FYI due to covid-19 there is no on-site waiting area. The town centre is about 10-15 mins easy walk.)The car needed an asap windscreen remove and re-fit because it was leaking around the sealing . Lots of water were coming in on the driver's side. Booked the earliest appointment an hour drive away. Arrived at the Peterborough branch. The technician was not totally satisfied because the HQ did not send him the replacement glass in case the windshield breaks.He told me what's going to happen if that's the case. He immediately tried to find out what's going on and why the replacement screen is not there. Unfortunately he couldn't do anything about it which is not his fault.He could give it 80% chance to do the job without breaking the glass which still could have been re-fitted (with a crack on it somewhere). So it was my call. I had a feeling in my guts that he can do it without breaking in. Anyway, a broken/cracked re-glued, properly sealing windscreen is still better than a paddle on the driver's side. The point is he did a fantastic job without a broken windscreen. I think with no replacement screen there was a big pressure on him to do his best. Big thank you!!!

I had a new windscreen fitted to my Alfa Romeo Giulia today on Peterborough excellent service and a well installed windscreen, excellent finish all as original fitment by Alfa Romeo specifications. I was told how they would fit the new screen and how they recalibrate the safety cameras .I also had new wiper blades fitted.

The glass was changed quickly, but after, they didnt installed it right , all the plastic bits loose. I even cant clean my window, because water injectors in a wrong height and water gets just under the bonet..
