Glebe Farm Post Office

Appalling customer service. I went here on Tuesday this week. As I approached the counter, I was not spoken to & at this point his phone rang, he never looked at me. He took the call, still not uttering a word to me. It would have been courteous for him to say to the caller that he was dealing with a customer or said “excuse me, I need to take this call” (it was his Daughter & they were just chatting - he had his phone on loud speaker). Since my visit the transaction has not gone through (a banking transaction on behalf of my elderly Mom who is now worried sick about what has happened to her cheque that is needed to pay her bills!), the phone is not being answered and I have tried calling this morning & the phone is engaged. I will definitely not be using this Post Office again.

ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!Tried to get a postal order for £187, was told it would be a 12 percent fee, which would have been £22.44, told him the fees are capped at £12.50, even showed him it on the post office website but he just didn't care. Had to go to another post office, who confirmed they cannot charge more than £12.50 for postal orders.What a joke!!Never mind the attitude and poor service you get at this place, now they've started scamming people.Glad I checked the post office website before I set out, else I would have ended up paying for it!

It’s closed more time it’s open! Shouldn’t be closed due to “lunch” they should have more staff to cover. The staff here especially the old English lady are rude

Has to be the worst post office in a 10 mile radius, customer service is awful, MO and TINA extremely ignorant, throw change at you, refuse to serve as and when they feel applicable, will definitely be reported.

I’m actually really surprised to see these comments. I go to the post office almost daily & have had nothing but great service. Both Mo & Tina are very helpful & friendly. I’ve had issues with parcels being returned & they’ve called Royal Mail for me whilst there.Everyone has off days & I’m sure they do too but I’ve always had a great service from them x

It's really bad. I have to collect my post, but they closed all the time it's been 3 days, but I can't get my item from this post office . And royal mail not do anything about it

I've been living in this area for over 25 years and remember when the Post Office was a busy and vibrant addition to the Glebe. Now, its a run down, poorly stocked shop with random junk on the shelves and appalling customer service. People just about force themselves to use the Post Office, because of its convenience, and a few other reviews need to drive to the next one!The owner needs to sell this business and hand it to someone who is enthusiastic in bringing value to the Glebe and inviting customers rather than pushing them away. This shop time expired many years ago, and he needs to move on with his life and find something new.

The man behind the counter, I understand his name is MO, his a proper lazy savage animal. I went there around 10 times, he never accepted my small parcel with shipping label purchased online. One time he said he can't do nothing because it's Click & Drop, other time he can't take it because the parcel has less than 50 grams, other time he said can't issue proof of postage because it's less than 100 grams. Today he didn't check weight and dimensions, he didn't touch the letter and said It's less than 100 grams

Post office really needs to improve itself. Very unreliable times closing and opening. Sometimes closes one hour before closing time. As a new norm. Please fix the timings as soon as.

The worst post office in the West Midlands. I've never experienced such horrid and rude behavior. The male behind the counter was out of order. He wanted me to send all my items special deliver otherwise he is too busy to serve me so I had to go elsewhere. I initially thought he was joking and had to ask him again. Indecent behavior and very rude. I ended up having to drive half an hour to another post office who were able to send my post without any issues. I can't belive this man was so vile and I had to leave without getting my items posted. This man needs to be addressed. Someone from post office or Royal mail needs to read the reviews and pay him a visit. He shouldn't even be allowed to work for such a company with his attitude and indecent behaviour. I am upset and horrified.I will be reporting what happend today.
