Smart Move Removals

Awful company, not only were we messed about a week before we were due to move after paying a deposit to be told that we needed to pay more, which ended up being over double what we had been originally quoted due to an ‘admin error’ on their side.Didn’t deliver any moving materials, boxes or bubble wrap etc despite being told this would be provided and promised on several occasions.Bad communication, no response for days if at all.The move itself was done by a different company that Matthew had contracted to do, they have damaged 2 of our TV’s, broken one of our kids toy boxes and ripped our headboard for the bed as well breaking our tumble dryer so it now leaks water everywhere to be told we only cover you for £50 worth of damages because we didn’t report it straight away due to the removal company moving everything on the Friday but us not actually getting to the new address until late on the Monday.. We have since found out we are also missing things which I 100% know went on the van as I carried them out to the guys.I have tried to contact Matthew about this and had no response.

We recently used smart removals for moving house and they were brilliant! We didn't have to do anything just stood back and let them do it. They did a great job and were so careful with our belongings. They had to wait all day for us to get the keys for our new house and they were very patient and understanding about this. They were very efficient and did a great job with the furniture they had to disassemble and reassemble. I would definitely recommend this company!
