Great place for horse lovers. They have other bits in there like red foxes and Scottish wild cats they could do with fresh drinking water. Picnic tables dotted around but no bins. Over all we was there for about 45 minutes.

Fabulous day out, really friendly staff, even got the glorious weather. Walked around and petted the huge well mannered horses, lots of them to see. Also got to see, red foxes, red squirrel, owls and two resident cats and plenty more. Parking is easy and the cafe and shop are amazing. Had a lovely coffee and piece of cake, service from the staff was spot on. Really looking forward to returning.

This is a wonderful little attraction, if you are an animal lover then you can easily spend several hours. The Shire horses and ponies are in beautiful condition as you would expect and most are very friendly. It is also easy to spend time watching the chickens, peacock, foxes, wildcats, otter & barn owls; we even got lucky and managed to see the normally elusive but fantastic little red squirrel! There is also a large lake with swans, geese, ducks and other wild fowl. Thomasina the gorgeous domestic cat usually makes an appearance too... We enjoyed coffee and delicious cakes in the lovely little lakeside cafe. There are several walks lasting 30 minutes to an hour - we would recommend going on the longest walk to see all the shire horses and the herd of red deer. All in all, a brilliant little place for all the family, especially if you have young children.

Very well maintained and planned centre. Horses have plenty of space and are taken care of very nicely. The 'history' barn is great idea same as a woodland trail with wooden animals to find.Cafe is very nice and staff are very friendly. Fab shop with toys and souvenirs. We spent about 3 hours there with a 5 and 9 year old. And will be back. The fact ticket allows you to come back free of charge within a month is very kind.

A wonderful gem of a place that is great for visitors of all ages. The ability to get up close to such powerful but docile horses is amazing, and it was really interesting to learn about such an iconic breed and the work that goes in to ensuring that they endure for future generations.Parking is free although the car park can get a bit tight at peak times, there is overflow parking available if it gets full. There's enough to see around the stable yard for those with smaller children or with mobility issues who would prefer to stay on level ground, whilst those who are feeling more energetic can walk around the whole farm to see even more of their horses and some of the other animals that call this place home like their small herd of Red Deer. Remember this is the countryside though so expect the occasional bit of mud and uneven ground if you head further out. There is a twice daily walk on the wild side" where you can follow the staff as they feed and impart some interesting facts about their otter

Went their today has plenty to look at and the animal talks are very good, the cafe and gift shop are not overpriced, their is a fair bit of walking but that's optional so take some comfortable foot ware, keep your ticket when u pay and can go back as many times for the month, definitely worth the money and such pleasant staff definitely go back

What a lovely place. Took my 3 year old daughter who loves horses for a visit. The lady on the entrance was lovely, explained where everything was and the times for all of the activities. The lady who did the pony grooming was lovely too, spoke very kindly to the children and helped my daughter increase her confidence around the horses. It was a damp/coldish October day, so wellies and warm clothes were a must. Felt it would be better to visit in the warmer seasons, as most of the areas are outdoors, but we shall definitely be visiting again. My daughter loved seeing all of the animals, especially the ponies, the very friendly farm cat and the red deers.Staff in cafe were very professional too.Gift shop toys VERY expensive, but this is to be expected in these sorts of places. All in all a very good day out, and a sleep in the car on the way home, as we were very tired from our exploring.
