The Wobbly Duck
Great beer menu and friendly service. Lovely to see a couple of sours on the menu, my favourite that's often less available. Will definitely return next time I'm in Newcastle.

Stoked to find this place as it was just what we were looking for. They have like ten keg taps with a good mix of ales, lager, stout and best of all when we were there they had these two beaut sour beers that hit the spot. They also have a bunch of cask ales etc. Vibe wise it's a super cosy little place with barrel-based decorations and the occasional plushie duck. Bar staff are entertaining and can pour a pint.

Having just got off the train a pint was in order, we seen this was a craft beer bar that seemed to be recommended by locals... shame we weren't locals as the service was absolutely terrible and the recommendations from the person behind the bar were as flat as the cider (had to ask if this was the way it was served and we were scoffed at) a luke warm, flat, alcholic, apple juice and a scrumpy jack looking pint of craft IPA later, it's safe to say we won't be back and would advise to do your research on what to drink if you do go as you'll get no help whatsoever and that the favourites change everyday - maybe we weren't hipster enough to get it.

This is a great pub. More beers, both cask and keg, than you can shake a good sized stick at. The guy behind the bar was very welcoming. He was also very helpful in suggesting other places we could visit while in Newcastle. The place itself is very cosy with plenty of interesting features. There were a few regulars in who were up for a chat and also helped us put our pub list together. We ended up going back on our last night in the city for a last few pints and a momento.

Popped in for a couple of beers, which were well kept & from a great selection. A very charming little place.

Have you ever seen a better logo? Absolutely adorable. This subterranean bar had a vast array of beer to enjoy. The decor was excellent and linked to the nautical/duck theme. It was a little hard to find, but this could be due to the fact it was pouring down with rain.
