My second hand electric bike was showing a fault so I took it to Cyclelane Clarkston on Tuesday and after phone updates I was back in possession of my perfect bike by the Thursday! Service was outstanding - I’ll definitely go back there

Full Service - Dropped my bike of to have it fully serviced for the first time. My brake pads and cassette were worn, I needed a replacement inner tube, and a new chain. The service was excellent, the guys were accommodating and even allowed me to pick up my bike in-between completing the service for a cycle trip I had planned prior to taking it in, before dropping it back off to get the final touches. The guys also explained to me the things they had done in detail along with providing other handy information on safety locks and advice on finding the perfect seat for me when completing longer trips. Thanks, Cyclelane. Great work as always!

A gem of a local bike shop. I've been on a few occasions this year, once for a full wheel rebuild and once for solving a mishap with a quill stem. The quality of the work, the price and the customer service is second to none so I would highly recommend if you need anything sorted on a bike to pay them a visit.

These guys were so great to deal with and everything was perfect! I was surprised to get such quick responses via email when I inquired about a hire bike a couple months in advance, and had it booked within a couple days. When picking up bike the staff I dealt with was so helpful and nice, gave me some tips and ride ideas. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a hire/rental bike in Glasgow!

all very easy and smooth - I hired a gravel bike for 3 days for an event. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff; bike in good condition; a chance to try it out around local streets before heading off; no faff - all good :)

Bicycle technology has moved on since then and the guys at Cyclelane took the time to bring me up to date and help me select the right bike for my needs and my budget.The after sales service has been outstanding, with no question too stupid to answer, and no job too trivial to help and advise on. Thoroughly recommended.

I hired a gravel bike from Cyclelane for a week while I was visiting Glasgow in November 2021. It was a fantastic experience and made my trip so much more fun. Even though it was a busy period, the shop managed to set me up with a great bike that fit me well, and at a very reasonable rate (slightly less expensive than what I had seen for other shops in Scotland). They also included a lock, pump, spare tube, and helmet free of charge with the rental. The bike was perfectly maintained, and about 150 miles of riding went by without a single problem.The staff were easy to communicate with (even from across the Atlantic) and very happy to help - they clearly love to help cyclists get out and ride. They also gave me some good recommendations for bike rides in the broader area, including going to the Whitelee Wind Farm, which was an incredible experience. Though I didn't have the need to buy anything from the shop, it looked like they were well stocked with about anything you could need.I highly recommend Cyclelane for cycle purchase, hire, or repair, and I will definitely come back if I ever happen to be in Glasgow again.

I recently bought an electric bike from Volt and the local dealer was Cyclelane in Johnstone. David was super helpful and arranged a test ride on a similar bike so I could get an idea of what riding an electric bike was like. He took the time to explain the different levels of power and made sure I was comfortable. I had not been on a bike for a long time but David came out with me on another bike to make sure I was safe. Excellent service and would not hesitate to recommend them. Loving the freedom of cycling again!

Ordered a bike online for my son for his birthday but was a tad last minute as the previous company had let us down. Had fantastic service from John - clear email updates and the bike was delivered within a couple of days. The bike is superb and cheaper than any other company. Delighted with the bike and the service received. Highly recommended.
