The Lantern Church
A very welcoming church which shines Jesus. The worship is vibrant and meaningful. The leader 'Mike' presents good leadership with humour to a congregation who seem to really want to follow where he is leading, doing it in a most 'unvicarish' way. Mike attaches as much importance to a young child as he does to another adult. The teaching appears to be centred firmly on the Word of God. I have paid two visits to this church and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a refreshing taste of God's Kingdom on earth.

It is wonderful to go to a church where everyone is actually made to feel that they are part of a large Christian family. The work that is done there is incredible as it covers all ages both within the Merley area and beyond. My wife and I love attending the wonderful variety of activities, which includes the services.
