Daika Kurdish Grill
The whipped feta starter and tapsi were excellent. The falafel wrap was a little dry and average. Service was slow, and we had to ask for our drinks to be brought out after the food finally started coming out. The staff and owner were very friendly, but not too attentive during the course of our meal. Very nice interior.

Delicious Middle Eastern cuisine right by the castle. My partner and I shared the lamb shawarma wrap and ordered a hummus appetizer. We both agree it was the best hummus we’ve ever had! The atmosphere was also nice and we had a lovely view by the window. The staff was also attentive :)

Absolutely brilliant Kurdish food. Must trys include the lamb kebab, the chicken kebab and the slow cooked lamb in gravy. The service person was all smiles and efficient. Highly recommend the place for a flavour packed meal.

Notice they changed their name to Daika, so when you’re following the map, look for Daika instead.Great Kurdish restaurant, very fresh and flavorful food. You’re greeted with fresh flat bread that is fantastic. The fattoush salad was excellent as well.. The Huumus with lamb, baba gannoush and kebabs were wonderful, the cardamon ice cream and coffee were a delight

Food was delicious, the staff including the owner were very friendly and welcoming. Had a mix grill platter and chicken shawarma. We loved the terrace over Victoria Street
