Love of dogs training

We rescued a young dog two years ago, he hadn’t been socialised and was extremely anxious about everything in the world. We were unable to walk him in areas where other dogs were.We have been with Love of Dogs for about 1.5 years now. I'm honestly amazed at how much I've learned and subsequently been able to teach my dog.Their online community is amazing & Danielle, Caroline and Caz are super quick to answer questions, it’s a place I can ask questions and post videos, and just get honest feedback and tips from the trainers and others who are going through the same problems.Training sessions are tailored towards me and my dog and no two are the same.Danielle is only a phone call away if things get overwhelming and listens with no judgment.Without LOD I would not be where I am today, and Colin may not be with us!

We signed up on the reactive course which has given us far more than training it's giving us an understanding of why he reacts the way he does and what he is trying to communicate to us when he is uncomfortable, stressed etc. Our boundaries have been safely pushed under their guidance. Fantastic team, lovely place to train, looking forward to what we can achieve in the future with further training planed.

Done the reactive course first words was my dog is really bad. First session was unable to get into training area , but after full course I've been able to enter full area. My dog knows her training signals and wording. I know her signs she's not happy. We can now go on walks together both relaxed and prepared if she meets another dog. The team is amazing I can not recommend them enough. If you thought your dog was bad don't believe it these women are miracle workers. Please please give them a try.

I couldn’t be happier with the training and guidance Caroline has given over the months she’s been helping me with Bruce & Ralph. She’s not only helped them but she’s helped me understand them.I rescued Bruce & Ralph from a dog farm along with two of their brothers and sister. They were extremely malnourished, living in a shed amongst other things.They had zero social skills and terrified of people (especially men) Bruce has electrical burn scars along his tummy and I rescued him at just 13 weeks old.Caroline from the off was patient and took her time with them. We’ve gone from me not being able to walk them to me walking them both together a couple of times a week, Ralph has learnt to do little tricks through clicker training and Bruce has gone from not being able to leave the garden to going on 7 mile walks with a group of people.I couldn’t have got this far without her.

Absolutely brilliant place and trainer's! they have helped us with our reactive dog so much and helped us to understand our boy and what he needs and how to give him that! They don't just help the dog but us as well. Would not hesitate to recommend love of dogs the staff and the training methods and also the facilities they have on there sight they have been life changers for us

Izzy’s (springer spaniel) stressed behaviour was making both our lives miserable. Had tried all sorts but I was loosing hope. Danielle and her team went back to basics and helped us both so much. I can’t thank them enough. You have to put the work in, and follow their guidance but it’s been 100% worth it.

We have been using love of dogs training now for over a year, the support from Danielle and her team has been invaluable with understanding our dogs behaviours and how best we can support him. We would highly recommend!

Benji had his first overnight stay on Friday and he was a very happy boy. Danielle and the team are absolutely amazing and really take the time to understand Benji's struggles, making sure he was comfortable with everything. Spending time with him in his kennel to make sure he was happy and making it a fun place to be. The range of activities they have are absolutely outstanding and I am so glad I've found them. Benji can't wait to come back for a 2 night stay in a couple of weeks.

Brilliant course with great trainers. The trainers really take the time to understand you and your dog and go at a pace that suits you. They help you to create a good all round foundation which is fun and easy to follow and you can then build on. I have noticed improvements in my dog and our relationship in areas that I didnt even know needed work! The ongoing flexible option of further training and mixing with other dogs who have completed the course is great! See you soon! Zoe & Rey
