We absolutely love the Magna, come up probably twice a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and the drinks are reasonably priced. Jamie is a very pleasant member of staff and always has a smile and nothing is too much for him. The Magna is very cosy with good atmosphere. We came to watch a band and it was a brilliant night. Definitely our favourite pub in Lincoln and worth the walk up steep hill. Lovely little gem and you can get some cracking views of the cathedral. Absolutely love it. Worth a visit xxx

Louise and her team were very accommodating of our late arrival, and specific dietary requests and we were very well looked after. The food was delicious and cooked as we asked for and the staff were polite, helpful and a credit to the Magna Carta, many thanks one and all. Highly recommend.

Casually dropped in for a swift refreshment during my city visit. The place exudes cleanliness and offers a genuinely warm welcome. Delighted in a refreshing, cold pint paired perfectly with a delectable sharing plate of loaded fries and onion rings shared with my daughter. Without a doubt, a revisit is on the horizon – the meal was undeniably fantastic, and the seating provided an extra layer of comfort to the overall experience.

We had a table of 7 on a very busy weekend (Steam Punk weekend!) Magna called in the morning to advise there may be a delay on our food due to the size of our table. When arriving at the venue, the staff were really attentive, polite and quick to show us to our table. Based on how busy the pub was, our food ordering experience and delivery was really smooth. The food did take a little longer but again we were advised this may be the case so it was no problem at all. Thanks for a great afternoon, everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thanks again!

It was a quiet, wet Wednesday lunchtime in Lincoln , but the atmosphere was as good as it could be. I have to complement Sharon for excellent service and what a star in this industry she will be …. congrats be proud of yourself

Visited Lincoln for a business event. Called into the Magna Carta for a couple of drinks. Nice decor and feel about the place. A great place for a drink and maybe some food.

First time we had visited, excellent atmosphere, found a table by the window, and ordered at the bar. Delicious food arrived fast and tasty, very lovely veg chilli with all the trimmings attractively presented.Friendly staff, handy location, central to the top of Lincoln. If you're in the area, very much make a visit here a priority. Magna Carta such an important document, and the pub name reminds of the history associated with it. Will definitely be back.

This is such an amazing place. We were greeted on arrival, had two lovely meals and had fantastic service from a wonderful lady called Sharon. Can't recommend highly enough.
