My best friend and I did a 90s inspired photoshoot, I was really nervous on the day but Leah made the experience so fun and easy, my nerves were gone within the first minute. I would definitely recommend a photoshoot with Leah, the pictures came out so great and we loved every single one. We contacted Leah as we required childrens headshots for theatre casting. From first contact, Leah was extremely responsive and worked around our schedule. Booking her was an absolute breeze. Her studio is well located with convenient parking and a cheeky coffee if you need. Once inside, Leah explained the process and her pricing structure. Her experience is clear to see. She was patient and worked around our children to get their headshots and poses in an efficient manner. Finally - the results... ARE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! From the very first interaction our experience with Leah was fantastic. Recognising the need for both a professional and casual set of photographs, for the first time I chose to use a professional photographer. Terrified of what might transpire, I took a leap of faith and banished my insecurities having been recommended to call Leah Van Zyl by a trusted colleague.My first interaction was through a phone call which had the effect of almost immediately easing any apprehension I had. I was assured by the calm and inviting tones of Leah Van Zyl a woman who clearly understood my apprehension, which she calmly proceeded to dispel successfully. We had Leah as our photographer for our wedding day at Mulberry House in Ongar in July 2021. This was our third date due to postponing from the pandemic. Leah was very supportive and patient during this time.Prior to the wedding, Leah organised an engagement photoshoot to give us guidance for poses to remember for the day. When we looked back at the images, we could see Leah’s experience and knowledge shine through. We really knew we had chosen the perfect photographer for our special day.Leah was very confident in dealing with people and took control of the day which put our minds at ease. She knew the best settings to help capture the day beautifully. Leah has a great personality and brilliant sense of humour. It was great to watch how well she worked with the bridal party, especially the young Flower Girls, making them smile, laugh and work the camera!Family, friends and even the other wedding suppliers also commented what a great photographer she was. It was wonderful to see how well Leah worked with videographer on the day – a company that she had never worked with before. They become a fantastic team on the day.We were so impressed with the images when we received them, the quality was astonishing. We will be forever grateful for her capturing our day so perfectly.
