Nice atmosphere and decor with a friendly waitress. Quite pricey for us to visit regularly. We spent £50 for 2 mains, 2 soft drinks and a shared a dessert.We had the Home-Baked Pie of the Day which was Beef & Merlot and the Chicken Forestiere.I was able to swap the chips for rice on the Chicken Forestiere which complimented the dish perfectly! I definitely recommend!The Chicken Forestiere said it was served on a bed of spinach" I asked the waitress if this could be removed and she informed me the Chicken was stuffed with the spinach

We visited the Curlew for a Sunday roast. The pub, food and service by Emily were all excellent, can’t fault it. We’ll definitely be back

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch and will be back on Boxing Day if not before, my one comment is the vegetables could have been a bit hotter. The staff were very efficient and pleasant, did very well considering how busy they were. One other thing, your car park is just not big enough, people were having to leave to find somewhere else to park!

Just been to curlew for some grub with the wife after work no words really to describe it just blew me away amazing so good quality food lovely staff beer was great all amazing how it should be done when spending money going out we all know its not cheap but when like this all worth it well done curlew see you again thank you

We love the curlew, it's always been a fond favourite of mine and is now at its best for a long time. Lovely ambience, proper cosy pub vibes with open fires and comfortable furniture. The food is the real star of the show though, it's always top notch comfort food cooked perfectly, I love their pies!The staff are kind and great with children and dogs. My only slight issue is pricing is now quite high in my opinion especially in an area with so much choice for good food. We'd go far more often if it was more affordable but I understand the struggles pubs face so it's a treat for us.

I started going to the curlew regularly when I lived near. Spectacular food for decent prices. Good alcohol selection, same with food options. I highly recommend booking as they get very busy especially for their Sunday roasts which are epic!! Best in town that took 7 Sunday roasts around the local area to find this one!The trio of desserts is fab. The staff are so ridiculously friendly and happy no matter what mood you are in...you step in there with or without your babie/fur babies and they will put a smile on your face ❣️

We just came from Barcelona and wanted to have some delicious Sunday Roast. We came in the right place!We just had a perfect Sunday Roast lunch here outside at the garden in a sunny afternoon.Special thanks to the lady who welcomed us at the entrance (I think, she is the manager or owner)Food 10/10Service 10/10We will be back!
