One of the worst charity shops in town. The the storm manager has the worst attitude I have ever seen from a manager ever. He seems to have a problem with any customer asking for any help. Could you seems to have a really nasty attitude. I won't ever shop there again.

So, after my 1st visit, which I've already commented on and highly praised the shop and staff, my 2nd visit wasn't anywhere near as good. After spending some time to search through the small section of vinyl records and having chosen 7, I presented my items to 1 of 3 staff members behind the till. She asked the store manager how much they were, his response being the price should be on the sticker but he's probably peeled them off already". To say I wasn't happy at this remark is an understatement. I guess a 3rd visit will not be happening. Such a shame for a well deserved charity."

BHF Carlisle were meant to collect two sofas from my home. I booked this in advance and as requested set aside the full day 9-5 for the collection. I moved furniture around and had the sofas prepared to be collected from the doorstep. However, in the afternoon I received a call from the driver to say that despite having booked the two sofas in they weren't going to collect today as they'd taken too many additional items on a previous collection and there was now insufficient space in the van.This is truly unacceptable.I had arranged in advance. I had set aside my time. Arranged things for their convenience and now they're suggesting that I wait a month for the next time they will be in my area.

The shop has a good selection but the way they treat those who donate goods should be improved. I think their expectations are a bit high - it's goodwill, I'm not donating brand new stuff because I don't have brand new stuff.Not as grateful as the likes of Eden Valley and Impact. I know they all rely on volunteers but manners and smiles are free BHF.Shop good if you're looking for furniture and house bits at a reasonable price.

Was here on opening day. Great to see a place that offers such variety. The staff the most of whom were volunteers were all very friendly.I'll be back for more bargains.
