Lots of signs telling you not to do anything. If you like exercising your dog properly off the lead, forget it, dogs on leads everywhere. The walks are all pretty short.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Peaceful and very accessible. Cafe was brilliant, the walk was cool under the shade of the trees, perfect visit

There were some nice walks by the water and through the woods. There is a good sized car park costing £5 for the whole day. There is a cafe and toilets. This would be a good place to bring children or to walk the dog. There were places to hire wetsuits and windsurfing gear. No swimming allowed.

Lovely campsite by a lake. Good for sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. You are not allowed swimming though. Friendly place. Very peaceful apart from the geese

Nice place to go. Everything is very spread out though.Parking charge applies via change or Ringo app. Launch fee here which I found abit steep considering bought own equipment. Staff very friendly and accomadating.

This is a great place to go on a sunny day. You can hire a number of items to to on to the lake, including canoes or small dingies. You can also turn up with you own boat for a very modest fee. Toilets and showers are available. You can hire wet suits and life jackets - a life jacket being compulsory. There is also a motorised rescue boat on hand should it be needed. The Lake is a reasonable size to explore including going across to a cafe on the other side.
