The reception are very welcoming and the staff over the years are amazing always looked after my dogs with loving care I now have pet plan which saves me alot in flea treatments and yearly jabs I would highly recommend this vets to everyone

I have been taking Smudge to Carters for the past 12 year's and would recommend it to anyone. My cat loves it too, as soon as his cat basket comes out, he gets straight in. He knows he is going for a drive and is never frightened even though on one occasion he was really poorly and I thought I might lose him. The staff were great!

Use to be a lovely family run vet. Not anymore; part of some national chain now. Care is less, cost is higher. Lost the lovely personal touch of Christopher Carter and the rest of the team. 3 stars is being generous based on recent experiences, which have been expensive and poor quality.

Fantastic Vets, my dog received a thorough examination even though her symptoms had cleared in the few hours before we visited the vet.The vet explained what may have been the problem and put my mind at ease. He also was happy to issue additional pain relief medication following the recent reconstructive surgery my dog had been through.I can’t recommend this Veterinary Clinic highly enough. One of the best experiences I’ve had with our dogs in nearly 30 years. I’m pleased to say that my dog seemed to be at ease while we were there. Most unlike consultations with previous vets. I’m not surprised that they have a waiting list……..

Took my dog for his 6 weekly injection administered by a nurse in the reception area. My appointment was for 2.30pm and at 3.15 the nurse can with during in hand to apologise that I had been kept waiting but she was unable to gain access to a consulting room. This needs sorting out. There is absolutely no point booking an appointment with a nurse, as I was advised to, if they do not have access to an appropriate clinical space.

Having had two cats and a dog being looked after by the team at Christopher Carter Vets, I cannot fault them.They are so kind and caring to both the animals and ourselves.I was local to the surgery, but seven years ago moved out of the area, but still travel back for the excellent service.

I managed to get an appointment with Chris on the opening day of his practice, for my dog Herman, he was a lovely man, full of humour, kindness and a very caring vet. Over the years he cared for all our pets up until we moved to Northumberland in 2010.Condolences to the family, very sad news

Absolutely superb customer care and more importantly understanding the urgency of our pet needing to be seen. Several local vets refused to assist despite currently taking on new clients and Chris Carter accommodated us even though they were at capacity that day and with their customer register already. Cheryl is an absolute star!
