Came here from Devon on our last day of our holidays. Cafe shut, no bikes for hire. Nothing. The place isn't even sign posted correctly.Very disappointed.Avoid!

The lake is beautiful and there's plenty of huts around the lake for bird observation or just to get out the weather, there's plenty of beautiful nature to observe and a small play area for children outside the cafe which has great food and toilets

Hot and no shade but a lovely long walk! Dogs welcome but not allowed in the water. Fishing is good too.

The closest place for us and the first thought in the mind when it comes to a nice walking area!! Lovely place to enjoy nature and relax!! Got pretty much everything you would want for a nice day out!!

For me this is the perfect place to go running. 1x loop is 5K. Park runs are held here every Saturday at 9am.

Great dog walks as long as you keep your dog on a lead. Flat walk and great paths around the lake.Car park fee very expensive and no other facilities open, such a shame.

Pleasant way to spend a couple of hours walking around this lake. Cafe also at the car park if you fancy refreshments.

Through good times and bad, over the years my wife and I have made a point of bringing all of our children at various ages to walk around this site. This lake has a lot of memories for us past and present. I would highly recommend! The cafe I have reviewed separately and we have yet to walk the lower lake so I cannot comment.

Fabulous place been quite a few times never failed to catch, only problem is is fishing the Devon side is a long walk from the car park to the hut where I normally stay. If you are lucky enough a chap will ferry you and your gear across for a price. Once you are there it's well worth the effort.
