Parklands Sports & Social Club

Approached the parklands a few months ago to hire for a dance festival, we are a non. Profit making organisation who run dance events for the local community keeping kids dancing , making friends abs keeping them off the streets.We normally run our events in Rotherham but wanted to hold one in Doncaster we have looked for a a while for a decent venue with Stage , we approached the parklands and spoke with Teresa she was extremely helpful! Accommodating from booking to hiring , nothing was to much troubleWe had our event this weekend and was a great success!! Staff were helpful and friendly even opening up slightly earlier to accommodate us which was greatly appreciated.Food was fab well priced and decent quality!All volunteers at our event really enjoyed our time at the parklands, we look forward to being back next year !Many thanks Xx

We went to parklands for the Doncaster VW festival. The drinks were reasonably priced, tea and food cheaper than the festival, staff friendly even though they were busy.

Good size room, disgraceful buffet for the price, no wonder they won't let you do your own catering as they made a fortune on providing for less than half the numbers paid for. Miserable staff and prices in the main bar lower than in the event room.Absolute rip off, definitely would not recommend

Absolutely brilliant place. Went to a VW festival and the club didn't overcharge as some places might. Served food as well, staff very friendly and regulars too.

Used The Facilities For Quite A While Know, Good Service In The Pub, Friendly, Holds A lot Of Events In The Function Room, Think The Cricket Pitch, Football Pitch, Bowling, Shooting Area, Archery, Needs Some TLC. The Woods Surrounding The Lake Has Been Cleaned Up A lot And Is Making An Improvement.

We have just used the function room for a dancing competition over the weekend. Fantastic venue, staff absolutely brilliant couldn’t do enough for us, very accommodating. Thank you Parklands
