Compact eco-friendly cabin accommodation in a perfect location for exploring the Dee Valley by car and on foot. Hot tub on the site was a nice and welcome feature. The up-the-ladder" bedroom is only really suitable and practicable for one/two young kids or a teenager/small adult. Air Fryer a nice addition to the kitchen area as there is no oven."

Tiny yet so complete! Scenery is stunning, especially when viewed from the comfy cosy bed, through the panoramic window! Photos are from said window. Don't be deceived by the small size of the log burner, it's very efficient. Coffee machine is a lovely touch, with simple working instructions. Location is bob on for many walks, shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend a stay.

The tiny house is the perfect setting for a little cosy November getaway. We loved everything about it. Ballater and the surrounding areas are wonderful and beautiful. There are so many walks of all lengths and difficulty, so there is something for everyone. Also, the bed is SO comfortable, and the elevated frame makes for the perfect little den! Thanks for everything, hope to see you again soon!

I stayed in Tiny house 2, it's a tiny house very well built, is getting hot only from the sun this time(at least on the period of the year we stood)It does have all the accessories you would need. Coffee machine-outstanding.Lovely view from the upper bed.We were with our 2 small childs and our dog but we managed.Keira replies to the message promptly

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young elementary aged children) loved our stay at the tiny house. We stayed in August and despite some cold days and nights the tiny house stayed warm and cozy. It’s a great location for hiking the Ballater Community Trails and the River Dee. It’s also close to Balmoral, Aboyne, Ballater, and Dinnet. It’s quiet and has beautiful views of the surrounding hills and fields. The beds were comfy and the espresso machine was awesome. We would definitely stay here again!

Surprisingly we had a lovely stay.A bit underwhelmed on arrival. Probably due to feeling tired and we struggled to find the cabins.Drove the road several times and kept missing it. Very dark road. Thank goodness for torch on phone( head torch recommended, someone had the sense to have one with them)Cabins are cozy, beautiful decor and meticulously clean. Red wine on arrival, a lovely touch. Thank you.Bed was one of the best I’ve slept in. So comfy.I foolishly underestimated the loft, I had specifically requested two bedrooms in search bar. Just couldn’t sleep in it, so can’t comment on comfort. Being middle aged and a frequent loo user, wasn’t at all for us.Credit through to host, offered solution but we chose to decline.Lovely base, super peaceful and over all a lovely stay.

Well it’s tiny. I believe they are still tweaking the facilities. For me (I was there with my daughter) the necessity to live out of my suitcase was a real negative. There were hooks on the bathroom side of a sliding door. The weather was dry for our stay but sitting on the loo next to (and touching) wet coats!?My daughter had the mattress on the floor in the ‘eerie’. I had the bed settee (not the most comfortable experience). There was no where (dining table and chairs all fold down) to even put my clothes at night. The luxury of a coffee machine is great, but could that space (large) in the cupboard be utilised more practically?A bottle of wine is nice but sugar, milk and butter would have been useful. The outlook is lovely. It was clean apart from the mould on the window in the tiny bathroom (we both cleaned out teeth and washed in the kitchen).Since the bird feeders were empty we threw some bread out (possibly in retrospect a bad idea) and attracted a rat in B-road daylight. We didn’t mind and actually found it quite entertaining. The tiny woodburner was impressive although the supply of wood questionable as it contained chipboard and ply, which have dangerous chemicals in them. Not so environmental.Considering the local alternatives, unless you want the novelty choose a more traditional dwelling. It was novel but personally I prefer a tad more comfort - and the ability to unpack. Family with 2 children - OMG - where would you put stuff especially wet things? Keep tweaking …

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. Our Tiny house had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable! The outdoor fired bath was great. There is lots of storage areas in the house. There is plenty of areas to walk, which is good for us with our dog. I would recommend the walk to Ballater. A visit to the bakery and the butchers is a must!
