Glasgow Queen Street railway station

Station is open and well signposted. Toilets charge 50p should be free. If the charge was for cleaning not worth it as toilets were disgusting at 9am on 30 Nov. Blocked toilets. Will opt to buy a coffee in a cafe and use those facilities next time. Very poor experience.

Very recently refurbished to a very high standard.Located in the centre of Buchanan St (Glasgow's busiest and best shopping street) Adjacent to Buchanan Galleries, 1 minute from Royal Concert Hall, George Square, Princess Square, the exclusive Argyll Archade, two minutes from Buchanan St Bus Station, Strathclyde University, Caledonian University, St Enoch shopping center, 4 minutes from Glasgow Central Station.Park and ride (car parks at Kelvinbridge and ShieldsRd Subway Stations with journey time approx 5 minutes to Buchanan Street Subway Station.Interchange with Glasgow Airport buses and Queen Street railway station (High Level; trains to destinations north, north west and north east (including Edinburgh) and Low Level; suburban services to the east and west of Glasgow, north of the River Clyde) to the north of Glasgow.Fast and frequent subway trains to west end, and south west of Glasgow (includes numerous popular visitor attractions, Glasgow University, and interchange at Partick for Scotrail trains to the east, south and west of Glasgow south of the River Clyde) and to 'Park and Ride' at Kelvinbridge, West Street, Shields Rd, and a separate but adjacent free car park at Govan.

I travelled from Inverness to queen street myself for the first time as in a wheelchair the staff were great especially a man called Dave at queen street who was very helpful towards me that I have the confidence to travel myself in future

Didn't get his name, but the fella on the 'information' cart right in the middle of the concourse of Queen Street is a credit to Scotrail. Very helpful...and cheery...about 1000h this morning.

All that trouble only to build a new station building without any shops.

No where can you pick up

No disabled assistance to meet me, but the guard on the train was brilliant. A jobsworth pointed at me saying loudly just wait there". Attitude problem
