Peaceful Pet Farewells

I cannot thank Em enough for her kindness, compassion and understanding during the most difficult day of my life. We had to make the hardest decision ever to have our beautiful boy Snoop put to sleep after he deteriorated very quickly during his short but brave battle with lymphoma. Em is an absolutely fantastic vet who talked us through the whole thing and in no way did it feel rushed. Snoop was able to pass away at home surrounded by everyone who loved him and the whole process was extremely peaceful for him. We recieved his ashes home today along with a beautiful card and personalised candle from Em. Thankyou so much for everything you did that day. We as a family appreciate it more than you will ever know.

I'm so glad we chose Em. It meant that our lovely old dog passed away peacefully in our own home. Em was so caring and helped everyone through, including my two children who she gave memory books and a fantastic reading book to. The book has been very helpful to them. The whole experience of Molly's passing away to the delivery of her ashes a few days later was turned into something far more positive by Em because she's so thoughtful and her process / service is top class. Again, I'm so glad we chose this option for our little dog and I can't recommend Em more highly. We're so grateful we could be with Molly till the end and that she passed away so peacefully and comfortably. Thanks so much xx

A year ago we had to make the most difficult decision for our beloved family dog. The idea of taking him to a vets to get the procedure done was not something we could consider. Being able to do it at home, where he was comfortable and felt safe meant the world to me and my wife. The process was done delicately, with care and compassion. I cannot praise Em enough for providing this service. A year on from the procedure and today we received a lovely card through the post. With the whirlwind of life after I did not get around to writing this review. An impeccable service, if you ever find yourself in this hard position, feel safe knowing this would be the best decision you could make at the end. Thanks once again Em!

I have only wonderful things to say about Em. She was kind and compassionate and made something very difficult peaceful and dignified. She didn’t rush and Boo passed away very peacefully in the garden without stress or anxiety for either of us. I could not recommend Em highly enough. Thank you Em x

a few weeks ago we had to make that most difficult decision to let our little boy CJ go, as his health started to deteriorate rapidly. We always wanted that perfect ending of him passing in his sleep, but unfortunately its a rarity, and not having to take him to the vets as his final journey to a cold clinical environment. Peaceful Pet Farewells came recommended and Em came to the house, such a lovely lady who displays compassion dignity and respect. Em uses a 3 step process which is not rushed in anyway, and the final stage of the process is only administered when YOU are ready to let them pass. ( I’m choking up now !)…. he passed in my wife’s arms, without any reaction, just peacefully asleep. Em took a little cast of his paw, and was so caring and gentle when the time came to take him from my wife and placed him in his favourite bed and blanket, he just looked so content as he lay asleep. I then carried him out to Em’s car on the final journey, where she took him to the crematorium we had had chosen. Our baby came home the next day. Its probably the worst day and decision of your life, but Em made it so peaceful, respectful and dignified. He could not have had a more fitting goodbye. A week later to the day we received a lovely keepsake card from Em, with sympathy and some seeds to plant, a lovely touch.Thank you Em, from Guy, fiona & CJ x

Brilliant and compassionate services offered by Em the vet. I am so glad that I was able to have an appointment with Em to help support through Peggy-Sui's final journey at home. It was heart-breaking and to be able to have my PS at home in my arms helped ease the pain (a little). I would highly recommend Em's services to anyone who finds themselves in this sad situation. Really sensitive and kind pre and post services and during the day itself. Just over a week later Em delivered Peggy-Sui ' ashes back to me, with care and kindness. Peggy-Sui was unique and I will always love and remember my feisty tortie with a big attitude xxxx--
