Went for a spot of lunch on 28/10/2023Was very quiet so service was prompt and staff very friendly..Food wS acceptable but not very hot and the plates the meals were served on were unacceptable. They were stoneware plates that had numerous chips out of them which put us off straight awayIT was a pity as the Bruce Inn itself was nice as were staff.

Had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was very busy, inside and out. Bathrooms (inclusive) were spotless. Staff were very friendly despite being so busy.We opted for the 5 tapas dishes to share between us. Must say that the haggis bon bons were divine but would have been nicer with a creamy whiskey sauce rather than the Jack Daniels option provided. My partner loved the ham and cheese croquettes and the meatballs were delicious also.As I said, lovely staff, a real credit to the establishment. The restaurant was lovely and clean too. Would recommend and revisit

Great little inn with a fantastic view of Falkland Palace across the street. The food is great with lots of options for vegetarians. The people who work here were friendly and so helpful. Made us feel at home.

Went here for a wee bit of lunch. Wasn't too busy and had plenty of space. Food came quickly and was good. Had a pizza and 2 side salads but they gave us a main course salad by mistake but only charged for the small one which was good of them.Looked like they had a nice beer garden outside.Lovely wee place and would recommend a visit.

My group went for a meal which was arranged by the owner of the courtside cottage because we were later than expected on arrival.The food was excellent the staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our meals.Then we went out to same place to watch a friend and his group of musicians play a feast of music.And the staff asked us at the table if we wanted drinks then proceeded to bring drinks to table.I would highly recommend a visit to the Bruce in falkland Scotland

Went last minute with a group of 10 people and 2 dogs after another booking in the area had fallen through, they happily sat us for food and drinks. Really nice staff and good food with something on the menu for everyone. They were very happy to have the dogs and brought them water.

Rock hard beds, no toiletries in the bathroom, the key to get back in didn't work, dinner menus that we saw online were no longer true, even though it said breakfast in the morning, there wasn't. The owners live upstairs and we had to call to ask them to be quiet as it sounded like they were stomping around and moving furniture. The owners do not engage with you AT ALL. I will say that the staff is absolutely lovely and that's the only reason they got 2 stars. For a price of over $300/ night, I expect more. Hiring an IT person to clean up their online presence so you know what to expect would be a very good investment.

FOOD. Went early afternoon to book table on sun 15 Oct the staff did not say there was no fish! Just showed menu got there about 5.20 most wanted fish but told none anyway was very hungry as did not eat as looking forward to eating there as I stay in area so ordered 2 pizza 1 vegan burger and normal 1.A mac& cheese and chicken meal. Maybe bad day as chief was leaving but can't say. food was very poor did say but was happy to take my £100. I did put a complete in after but they did not write back about problems like they did not care. I don't go out much but burgers dry Mac was over cooked a no taste pizza well what can I say just dry Dough and over cooked chicken but my 2 beers very good!

Currently at the Bruce Inn for lunch. The Tapas option tasty but tiny for £20!!! Way overpriced for tiny portions. Mentioned to bar staff and he charged for a 3 instead of 5 as he agreed. Good and friendly service.v
