Harnham Cricket Pitch
This is quite a large field next to the river which is great to let your dogs off lead and the dogs can then cool off and play in the river. It's also a great place for a picnic. Nice and quiet and out of the way of all the hussle and bussle. A short walk to a large carpark which has toilets. And a short walk into Town.

Home to the mighty Village Inn Cricket Club!With fabulous views of the cathedral and the river flowing round it, this is a lovely spot. Walk from the city via Town Path and take in a drink at The Old Mill pub

Have wanted to visit the water meadows at Salisbury for some time. Harnham Cricket Park was the ideal place to start our journey. Found all the locals in the area, very friendly, and the sports field well kept. Our gentle walk to The Old Mill was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In fact my husband said it was the best day out for quite sometime.

Our home pitch, it's lovely, of course...home of The Village Inn Cricket Club! Great setting with the river running round it and a superb view of Salisbury Cathedral...You can stroll around the cricket pitch, follow the river to the Old Mill Inn and then along Town Path in to Elizabeth Gardens and finally in to Central Salisbury. No more the 20 minutes walk.
