Edit Use to be a good fishing place but now the horse shoe lake is too much at £10 quid per angler is extortion and having to book pegs think there is only 7 of them and thats just for a day ticket if they was running low on money they have loads of pegs around the shoe lake open those up and get money that way. the island lake doesn't fish as well, some pegs are lethal wooden platforms shame they had to change it to suit just the bivvy boys.

Fantastic fishery great owners had great 3 day social on horse shoe lake the cafe is fantastic for food and good prices also have a beer in the fridge carnt wait to go back

Great place to fish, water level was a bit down at the time but still fished well, spacious pegs and friendly chatty owners

I was a member of this lake for 11yrs, left and then returned a couple of times, it's a lovely lake run well with Philip, Irene and Marc at the Helm, some super stock in the lakes, always a friendly place
