This review is really to report the business has reopened under new management one week ago ( May 2023). I called in for a drink & to see what was happening.It would not be fair to judge on that visit as clearly the new owner was trying to get his head around what he was going to serve in terms of beer ( the one cask pump was not in use yet)He has big plans for reasonably priced food & I think will listen as to what people want!I can only say good luck for the future & await further reports showing his progress.

Friendly and good atmosphere. Nice pub for a drink or two. Seems the food is well received. Haven't tried yet but will do soon

The Penruddocke Arms
Penruddocke Arms has been under new management since early Summer 2023 and making every effort to succeed. Popular Carvery at weekends will definitely help with this venture. It's recently had a make-over, which is a smart move. Loos are sparkling clean. Friendly atmosphere with pool table and Sky TV for Sports, which is much appreciated.

Whilst the room I stayed in was a basic single it was advertised as such and had all I could need, even a DVD library if you have the time for a movie or two. Staff were really friendly, beer and evening food was great. Only disappointment was I couldn't stay late enough to try the breakfast!

Lovely rooms, friendly staff and food great value for money.Will definitely come and stay again.The ducks and the garden are great for the children too

Stopped in for Sunday lunch as 2nd choice because other nearby pub was full. In contrast this one looked run down but thankfully that meant it was empty and they could serve us.The place has so much potential. Can’t fault the food or staff but it needs major refurbishment inside and out, removal of tipped rubbish in garden etc.Right now it just looks like a run down pub most people would drive passed
