We can't fault them, we had a hard decision to make about our beautiful cat who took ill. Everyone who was involved with her treatment were brilliant and did everything they could. Unfortunately we had to make the worst decision anyone could make, the young vet we saw was very sympathetic and caring.

Staff are very pleasant and polite, the veterinary staff also, only issue here is the cost. Very expensive compared to other veterinary services in the Tamworth area.

My dog was previously registered with another large vets who diagnosed her with bone cancer. I felt uncomfortable for various reasons with them so changed to Oakfield, Tamworth. Laura is great with my girl who hates trips to the vets, Darcy is a calm as I've ever seen her at the vets. She has had to have her leg amputated due to a large tumour growing on it. She has recovered so well and is so much happier now. Laura speaks to you with respect, spends time explaining things to you and really cares. The vet nurses are kind and professional.One star has been knocked off purely due to the lack of local emergency provision. Currently there is only 1 vet in Tamworth with emergency cover in the town, 10 mins versus 30 mins (to Solihull) makes all the difference in an emergency. These vets are full so there is a clear need for this service in Tamworth. Note that the emergency vets Oakfield use are very good though, 608 Vets, Solihull.Thank you for giving me back my bright eyed beautiful dog, she's had a tough few months.

Friendly and helpful staff. Was there for an emergency and the vet and staff were very supportive. Highly recommend going if you like people who care and go above and beyond.

Response to below response:Maybe ask your staff to have customer service training as Daisy is a very rude girl who does not know how to speak to customers or look at them without looking down on them!I could leave a Minus 5* I would. Not only do they charge you extortionate amount of money for something you already know and actually told the vet but then get a rude 'receptionist' if you can call her that as no one wears a name badge with a job role on ever. Then to have said 'receptionist' be rude over the phone when you try and ask for a prescription for pain medication that the vet has prescribed but can get much cheaper online - but then proceed to try and charge you a further £40 for the vet to print off and sign to give to you. With a response of 'well the vets charge £30 for 10 minutes work? Are you having a laugh? If thats the case the 5 minutes it took them to degrade me as a cat owner and tell me what i told them over the phone should technically of cost me £15 instead of the £52 they charged me. Then to be confronted by 3 members of staff when you go in to collect pain medication for my poorly cat and be spoken to like an idiot! Have some respect for the people who pay your wages and whilst your at it maybe learn how to speak to members of the public. If i were you this would be the last vets i would trust looking after my pets in any sense of the word! After being there twice and the situation not being resolved can say although i dont have a vets qualification i am pretty sure i can do a better job than this lot!UPDATE:No apology, them accusing me of being rude after the above happened and kicking me off their list. Absolutely appalling!

I have been using OAKFIELD for years now and I always get 5 Star treatment. All the staff are very professional and very welcoming. They obviously love animals too. They come highly recommended.
