As per CHRIS telling me to phone him, threatening me down the phone. Making fun of disabled people, harassing members of the public. Horrific company. Swearing down the phone at me. DISGRACEFUL. staff and mangers awful.

Second visit here and it’s a lovely place. ‘Mein Host’ really knows his beers. Excellent atmosphere inside and outside the pub with very friendly locals that made us feel welcome- especially the group of young lads. Only reason we marked our food down was that we both ordered medium rare but was definitely medium+. If I’d have been in a ‘chain’ pub I would have sent them back but didn’t feel that would be fair on the owner- nobody in business can afford to lose money which is what would have happened. Also, the steaks were tasty, tender. Just slightly overcooked for our liking. Our Grandchild’s Spaghetti Bolognaise was excellent and very good value for money. With a child’s play area and dogs are welcome this pub is well worth a visit which we will do again very soon and I’ll try to remember to take some photographs. Finally just remembered that we had Heineken Silver, very nice and better than some other premium larger’s we have had.

Great little pub, very friendly people thanks to Keith and the team for the short notice booking.The ale was spot on, the Sunday roast is how a pub should do.a Sunday roast absolutely cracking , nothing was to much trouble food was fantastic and the ale was ace.We will be back

Had to sit in separate room with dog on our own,said on Internet dog friendly. Bar man hardly made eye contact didn't feel friendly or welcoming.

So 22 of us had spent the previous two days partying. Let's say a few of us were hanging, and needed some food. A Sunday roast was just what was required. A phone call was made and to our surprise they had room to accommodate us. Really friendly people who looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Give them a try

Fantastic local pub.We moved away from the area and miss it dearly.The staff are always welcoming and the food is great quality and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend their burgers!
