Lincoln BJJ

I began the beginner's course at the start of this year 2023 ,and i love it !. Mark and the other coaches are friendly and take the time to explain techniques and why we are learning certain moves. I leave the dojo feeling like i've achieved something for myself that evening.I would highly recommend anyone considering BJJ to choose here.

Been training here for over 3 years now. I can be very nervous in social situations but when i first started everyone made me feel very welcome and i am so pleased i made that first step and started because 3 years later ive made some great friends and training partners. Everybody supports each other and we all have a good laugh whilst getting some good training. The instructer mark is very freindly and hugely knowledgeable with a lifetime of martial arts training behind him. It can be hard work learning jiu jitsu but its definitely worth it, espescially at lincoln bjj.

This is a great school. The tatami's are fairly big so a lot of people can train at once without rolling into each other or not being able to see the instructors demos. I've been here a few times for seminars and the instructors ( resident and guests) are always great. Mark is a really knowledgeable guy and hosts some great black belts and higher grades to learn from. The group of regulars itself is a pretty friendly bunch and you feel welcome even when you've travelled from another city to visit like I have. I've learnt from a lot of dojo's/ martial arts schools over the years and I have to say the service and knowledge here is some of the best.

Apprehensive at first to try something new, but a very welcoming group who are very helpful to newcomers, it's a great workout too, and really gets the adrenalin going in ways you never knew! Very knowledgeable instructors Would highly recommend getting involved, wish I started sooner.

Fantastic club, everyone is really friendly and the instructor is brilliant. Very patient and helpful at allowing students to develop their bjj and self defence skills. Couldn't recommend enough.

Can't recommend this place highly enough. I met Mark as an absolute beginner with zero martial arts experience and was treated with the same respect that he gives his blue and purple belts. Mark is an awesome teacher and this is a great place to learn. If you've ever even considered BJJ before get in touch with these guys and head down there to try it out, you won't regret it!

Very friendly, and a great atmosphere. Helps to keep me fit but is also good fun, recommend to anyone looking to take part in some fitness this year.

Absolutely amazing place to train, I have been a member of the club for over a year now. Mark’s a fantastic instructor, really welcoming. There’s no egos, as soon as you join you feel very welcome, you get the buzz and can’t stop talking about BJJ. Awesome way to lose weight as well, I’ve lost about 20 kilos since starting.

Really great club. Chilled atmosphere and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Mark manages to find a balance between between working in the techniques and putting them into practice.Highly recommended, would roll again. I always try and drop in when back in Lincoln

The most welcoming friendly gym ever! Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and has a passion for teaching and is a great life long martial artist, I would recommend anyone of any age and gender to try bjj it’ll honestly make your life better.
