Outstanding service!I use my bike to commune to work every day. Because of this I was distraught when the rear wheel broke. I contacted multiple bike repair businesses who informed me that it will be weeks before they can mend it. To my luck I also contacted Bikanic who asked me to pop by and they will take a look. When I reached the warehouse where the facility is based I was greeted by a friendly person who inspected my bike and informed me that he could fix it within days. Hesitantly I agreed to leave my bike and I was not disappointed. In just one day the bike had been fixed and for a very competitive price. I 100% recommend it.

Such dangerous work completed I posted this work and he removed it.Called him on behalf of customer and was told well they don't want to pay much its what they get" "the bikes are not legal anyway" among other things

Today I called the emergency service to repair the gears on my bike and the mechanic arrived on site after 10 minutes.It was fixed very quickly and professionally. He also advised me what should be replaced in the bike to make it work better.

It has been some time now that I was looking for a reliable bike repair service in Reading and finally I have found it. Dilip from Bikanic is a passionate cyclist who understands bikes very well. Sometimes it's the extra's that make the difference. I was fed up with the arrogant attitude that you often get when you take your bike to a big bike repair shop, so I thought I would have a look on google maps for an alternative. I'm glad I did! I met Dilip to get my ebike booked in my to get the rear wheel straightened out properly so the brakes worked, not only did he straighten out the wheel, he replaced the brake pads and cleaned the chain all included in the price! I can tell that he has a helpful attitude, and is keen on getting any bike back up and running. I use my bike for everything, so it's good to know now a helpful bike mechanic when I have any problems in the future! The only thing was it was hard to find (maybe a small sign on one of the doors as you go in?) but that's hardly a negative. Will be using again.
