Hope you didn't give him any money ! Maplin sands has been part of a military firing range since 1849. Everything has been tested here including Cluster Bombs. All his philosophy will not save you if you tread on an M50 sub-munition from an M483 155mm projectile. Your foot will be blown off and you may die.
