Very disappointed with most of the food we were served today . We paid a 2nd visit as we were impressed on our 1st. The fish cake was hard as though it had been in the warmer a long time!! It ws like a piece of thick cardboard. The chips were dry, over cooked and all scraggy bits. The spam fritters were lovely although a bit short on batter!The peas were nice tasting but more water than peas.

Popped into today for sit-down fish and chips mushy peas. 100 percent brilliant huge portions cup of tea and Pepsi first time.it won't be the last the both of us found owners very ospitable. Nice warm area even took a kebab home for later.. Good luck sunny.see you again.thanx

Called today , away for the weekend locally. Really polite staff, we sat inside for our food. Beautifully cooked and great portions. Great price, husband had mini fish and chips as there large fish is huge. Would definitely recommend.

Have stopped here on two different occasions and have had cod and chips both times cooked to perfections.Oh forgot to mention curry sauce yum.Needless to say it will become a regular stopover for us on our cycle trips

Good Fish and Chips either takeaway or eat in. Prompt service. Freshly cooked to order. Pies, sausages, scampi, and desserts -ice cream, pineapple fritter, etc - available. Premises are airy, light and clean. Worth a visit.

The chips were completely flavourless and overcooked and the fish cake was rock hard and dry. Staff were hating life.To top it off some busy body outside was personally offended we'd bought chips from here and not the other establishment in the area...
