Lovely Stay - Spacious rooms, everything was extremely clean and modern - Big shout to Mike who stayed up and waited for our late arrival, Highlight of the trip was the hot tub over looking the cows and sheep - Very peaceful place - 1 Hour drive from Snowdonia and they have car charging facilities - I would stay again :-)

Had a lovely long weekend recently, the lodge was beautiful, clean and well equipped, the hot tub was lovely we really enjoyed it. The site itself was gorgeous very well maintained. We booked the trip however through hoseasons who clearly don't give the correct information on their website I have a disability which limits my mobility so we as we always do checked that there was parking outside the lodge, to enable me to access it. On the day that we were to arrive at the site as we were on our way we were contacted by one of the office staff from tan rallt she was very kindly checking that we were aware the lodge we had booked was up 50 steps and we were unable to park the car near the lodge only at the bottom of the steps, I explained I had checked it was suitable for someone disabled she advised our contract was with hoseasons and to contact them which we tried to do and was unable to get any phone number to contact them. Spoke to the lady at tan rallt again who was very helpful she managed to arrange a different lodge for us which was more money but she did arrange a discount as we were not at fault. Thanks to this lady we were able to have our break in a lodge that was accessible and we had a wonderful time. I will never trust hoseasons again. We did find an email address for them in the absence of a phone number, we have sent an email to complain about the lack of information and that they will allow someone trying to book as disabled in a lodge that is up 50 steps but they have chosen to ignore this as yet. Big thank you to the staff at Tan Rallt.

My stay here wasn't the best if I'm honest. The staff were all very polite, friendly and happy to speak with you which was nice so this review is nothing negative towards them. But the accommodation we stayed in was less to be desired. Considering the amount we spent even after factoring in the increase for it being during the prime holiday season I did not find it value for money in the slightest..Everything was cramped other than the lounge area which was only just awkward. Navigating around the kitchen and bedroom sections and the corridor required walking with the body turned just to avoid bumping into the sides of the walls. Doors were the exact same, with trying to get round someone becoming a severe pain as there was simply no room to do so, requiring you to jump into a room just to allow someone to pass by. Considering there was just 2 of us staying and the cabin sleeps 4 people it would have been even worse had there been 4 of us.To get into bed we both had to shimmy along the walls due to their being just a 1 foot slither of space on either side of the double bed and the only alternative was to climb over the bed which is obviously not ideal if you're needing to answer the call of nature without waking anyone. The mattress was .. I assume it's a mattress as it wasn't that comfortable, though I do put that down to fact it seemed to think we had marital issues and want to constantly bring us closer together by sagging in the middle. For the twin room I'm glad it was just us to as anyone older than a teenager would have had a horrid night were they to attempt to sleep on the (whatever a half sized single would be called) sized bed. I assume the cabin is aimed at a young family rather than couples and friends. The bathroom did come with a bath function due to the fact that the water wouldn't drain properly requiring what should have been a nice relaxing shower to be cut short each time to avoid flooding the room. The parking spot was not car friendly with a good degree of care required to ensure nothing got bumped when backing out of the curved drive. We were grateful that our neighbour had a smaller car and parked fully in as otherwise we'd have been blocked in easily. We had no choice but to block the drive to another cabin which thankfully was empty all week, otherwise we'd have spent a good hour re-enacting twice a day re-enacting the Austin Powers scene of him trying to turn his little truck around in the corridor to get our car in and out each day.We obviously ended up getting the smallest sized cabin available on the site (though not on purpose) so perhaps your experience will be different if you spent the extra money to 'size up'. I don't recall if the square footage was listed on the site or not, but even if I was, I'm not sure the average person will be able to visualise the size based on just a number.I saved what I consider to be the worst til last. The large sofa in the lounge area has a dangerous spot and I can't understand how anyone with more than a brain cell would have thought designing it that way was safe and I'm amazed that no one at the site had flagged it to management of the potential risk. At one end of the sofa there is a section roughly 18 long that has absolutely zero support underneath and due to the positioning of everything in that area it is not very visible either. And even if it was

Our stay was very disappointing and nothing like it said on the website. We were very let down with the safety as on arrival we had broken pieces of glass in our jacuzzi our 6 year old had cut her leg in it and thought our stay we found many sharp shards which means they haven't cleaned it. There was nothing to see, no entertainment for children, very bad safety and most importantly very horrible and disrespectful receptionist. The lady was called Sam and she was very rude towards me and my family and she seemed racist and also been rude to us and children aswell. For example, she said that us speaking our language was very disturbing and obnoxious and we should go inside and be more quiet, it was my dad’s birthday and our easter so we went to celebrate but we had Sam be rude to us. We also needed towels and they refused to give us any but also we asked for a hair drier and they said they will bring it, however they never did. Also, they assure you internet service however they never specify that you have to pay for it. Our experience was not enjoyable and i do not recommend this place. We have been to many caravan sites and never been asked to pay £250 deposit and it never again, said on the website. The other staff were nice and friendly however the receptionist was nasty.

We stayed here Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July in Elwy caravan which is for four to six people overall we enjoyed our stay. There was two of us originally going to be four people staying but I think it would have been a bit tight on space it is small. This caravan is well suited for those who spent the majority of the day outside of the caravan. The shower was a bit small not suitable for tall people. The caravan was clean and our bed was very comfy. We were provided with complimentary tea and coffee, there was hygiene pack included washing up liquid and clothes and we given fresh bedding and towel. There is one car parking space allocated at the side of the caravan. This van is dog friendly we were orginally going to bring our dog but planned changed - there was a dog bed and a few dog bowls provided. The site is surrounded by fields and local woodlands beautiful views. However, you do require a car as the beech is 50 minutes walk and local attractions are 10-15 minutes drive away and the local bus services is non existent.

Oh where to start? We read in the Daily Post (twice, on consecutive days no less) that the restaurant had reopened with celebrity chef" trained staff. I had worked with the Roux brothers in the 80s on TV shows and looked forward to supporting this establishment. Therefore

Beautiful surroundings, very helpful staff. Site itself is a bit off the beaten track, extremely hilly so unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Vans are very close together and I was unable to park beside the one we had hired as no room to reverse in and camber of the parking space also caused an issue. The van we had was exceptionally clean and we'll equipped. I don't think there were many people on the site, so very quiet. We didn't use the restaurant.

First time staying at this Caravan site and won't be the last. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely, quiet and out the way of the hassle and bustle of the seaside towns. Our daughter has additional needs so dont like busy, loud and hectic feeling places so its been perfect for us. Even the childrens park being small is perfect for us as its not overwhelming for her. The last holiday we had was traumatic for her and us as the park had an horrific incident happen inside another caravan right next to ours (Ty Mawr, Towyn) so we hadn't been able to convince her to come on holiday since. Its been lovely to see her enjoy what shes always loved being at the seaside ans in a caravan all thanks to this site. Location is perfect as its Short drives to the popular seaside towns either side too and then a short drive back to the calmness of this park. We had the cheapest caravan (Bala) however it didn't feel that way. Lovely, clean fresh caravan and well equipped with everything you'd need for a self-catering holiday. The welcome pack was a nice touch too. Views are beautiful from all over the park and caravans.
