I had a problem with my pump and got in touch with customer services. I dealt with the same person all the way through (Paula Dunnon) who was amazing. Didn't waste any time asked all the relevant questions was helpful and quick to respond. Going on my experience the customer support from Whale and Paula Dunnon in particular was first class. I wish all suppliers were this good.

My 96 year old mother has been without a shower for over a month. There have been problems with it for longer than that. The plumber who installed it has spoken to their support line twice. Both times one of their engineers said the transformer was faulty. I rang and asked them to send someone in to fix it. He replaced something different. I emailed and asked them to send someone in again as it wasn't working. They didn't. I most recentlyforwarded the comments from the plumber to them and asked them to go in again and let me know when they were going in. They haven't responded. Meanwhile my 96 yeast old mother continues to suffer! Bloody awful!

The representatives at whale could not be more helpful, customer service is second to none. I spoke to a guy called ‘Gavin’ with regard to my water master caravan pump and after trouble shooting with me decides to send me out another pump… on them!! What an outstanding company and employees.

I have caravaned for over 35 years, and one of the biggest issues has been the reliability of the water systems. On purchasing our latest caravan, a Coachman VIP, I thought things might improve as it had a Whale pump. Most of my previous caravans had another make, which was very problematic. Sadly, it was just as bad. 3 additional pumps had to be bought as they kept failing, and you just don't have time to return them until you've had to buy another. Eventually, I took the water inlet apart and cleaned it, and that seemed to sort it out. This year wasn't much better as on the day before we were due to cross over to France on the Eurotunnel, the water system failed again and only with the assistance of Red Pennant, the Caravan Club's emergency service did we get sorted after the arranged for a local repair engineer to come and replace the microswitch in the inlet unit. Whale really need to raise their game and make these units more reliable. It's a real risk going abroad with their stuff in your caravan as if it goes wrong, you'll have to get parts flown out as you can only buy them in the UK.On a good note, their customer service is pretty good. Shame their products aren't.

On my 4th Ep1612 pump in 3 years. Every time we go away we fear for a pump failure.
