A very competent and reliable painter who did an excellent job on the exterior of our house which included some areas that were difficult to access. Good attention to detail, Roy removed all gutters and downpipes before starting the work.

DRS has done a lot of excellent work over the past few years on our large Edwardian house. Roy has solved numerous problems that have stumped other people, including water ingress around gables, windows and doors, and tricky restoration tasks. He has always been keen to restore, preserving the character of the house, while using the latest high quality materials and techniques.I've been impressed by Roy's willingness to discuss options and explain different possible approaches, and with the excellence of the decoration finish he produces. Roy is our 'go-to' master craftsman for any and all restorative and decorative works around the house, both internal and external. He has an attention to detail and a dedication to doing a job the only way it should be done - to the highest standards. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending him, especially for older/heritage properties. The only difficulty is finding time in his schedule to fit him in!

So pleased with all the work done to our house that needed much tlc. Wooden windows that were in a terrible state were repaired and now open, concrete render repaired, beams treated, house and windows painted and other little jobs that he has sorted for us. A master at his craft. Roy found a solution to all the issues we had. So very thrilled with everything. Would highly recommend Roy.

DRS have recently finished an extensive restoration to the exterior of my house. A number of the timber windows had a significant amount of rot as did parts of the door canopy and much of the roof line.Roy explained how he would repair the rot using an epoxy system and adding new timber where appropriate, finishing with a multi stage exterior paint system.His rate of work was very impressive and he was able to take care of additional problems as they were discovered.The finished job is absolutely amazing. where rotten wood has been replaced, the joins are completely invisible (even tho i know where to look) and the paint finish is blemish free. it's added to the value of my home significantly.If you want a quality job done on your house, then i can recommend DRS unreservedly.
