Worst solicitors in the UK. Please do yourself a favour and find another solicitor in your area. You have been warned. Poole Alcock will bully you into what they want, not what you want. They are there to make as much money out of you as they can. They do not listen to what you have to say. They are not very professional and have the worst customer service ever.

Emily and her team were really helpful from start to finish in helping me to purchase my first home. They were always happy to answer any questions I had and put me at ease during what could have been a daunting process. Excellent service. When all my legal aid solicitors to plead guilty to a bogus common assault charge with little to no explanation, these solicitors were fantastic at explaining the intricacies of my case in layman's terms and were confident enough to fight my corner. I highly recommend these solicitors if you need someone to defend you and feel like you've lost confidence in the solicitors provided to you by default through legal aid. These are the lawyers you want on your side. Twice the confidence of other solicitors and none of the arrogance you may get from duty solicitors when you're trying to ask questions.They're so helpful and friendly at Poole Alcock.

Without prejudiceVulnerable time during a separation. They demonstrated negligence and incompetence after spending about £20k as a result I now still spend less time with my children when they refused to listen to simple logic when the evidence was in contradiction. Had to hire new solicitor but still difficult to regain the time with my children. Tried their complaints procedure but they only answered questions they wanted and not in full and in most cases used deflection to avoid answering the questions. I am forced to contact their regulatory body including a current case with the FCA against them. Trading standards will also be informed. I have invoiced them to date over £27k but they are refusing to pay for their mistakes. This is a difficult time for me and I feel they took advantage of me.

Helped with my grandmother in a very short timeframe, which has been greatly appreciated for peace of mind. Charles Smalley was professional and incredibly patient. He ensured that everything was done lawfully and even challenged some ideas, just to make sure things were being done correctly to true wishes. He came across as very trustworthy.
