Carpets Clinic responded to my inquiry quickly and helpfully so that I could understand fully what my old oriental rug needed to be thoroughly cleaned and fully repaired. A home visit was scheduled which was most informative and helpful. The abundant expertise of the weaver was clear. What is more, from him we learned a great deal more about the provenance of the rug, its original colours and design. We were given information, offered choices etc about what was to be done and once we reached our decision, we agreed a contract for the work with left us confident that the rug would be returned to its original glory in due course. It was a big job involving repair and re-weaving as well as in depth cleaning. The result is so good now that we will use it as a wall hanging!Sofian is brilliant. His knowledge of and expertise in weaving must be extremely rare these days. He is a treasure in the business. He conducts business with perfect transparency and honesty. And enthusiasm. The rug was collected and returned directly to our home. In the interim he responded promptly to all inquiries. We recommend him and his work unreservedly. A great service.

Initially I contacted two companies about my rug. What made this one stand out was their obvious passion and knowledge about Persian rugs. Mass came to look at my rug and gave me an honest appraisal. He advised me against the more expensive of the two repairs I could choose - which I was impressed with. This guy clearly knows about the weaving and structure of Persian rugs. My rug was taken away, cleaned, repaired and delivered back to me for a very fair price. I was kept informed throughout the process by the lovely Libby. Excellent work. Carpet returned like new including repair to Moth damage and alteration in size. For a minimal charge they also made the offcuts into a runner for me.

I contacted Carpets Clinic after a recommendation as I needed an area rug cleaned a resized. After an initial consultation, The rug was collected by Mass, a very experienced member of the team, who not only came to collect the rug but also advised on how best to go about it. After a short time, the rug was delivered to me. Upon inspection, I was totally amazed by the work done, the rug looked brand new, and resizing was absolutely perfect.  Libby was in constant contact throughout the process. sending pictures of the different stages of the process which is a really interesting part of the service. This company has some of the most professional team members around and the quality of their work speaks for itself, I would highly recommend this company.

We approached Carpet Clinic along with other carpet repair companies for a quote for a repair (fringe replacement). None of the other companies responded to our request. We gave Carpet Clinic all 8 of our rugs to clean and repair and their workmanship and attention to detail was perfect. They were extremely efficient, friendly and professional and reliable. From the initial visit and inspection to the early return of our treasured carpet, the service was excellent. Matching the dye to the area of missing threads, weaving where necessary, completely replacing old fringing and cleaning the carpet were all superbly carried out. We were sent photographs during the renovation process, to keep us in touch with progress. We were extremely satisfied.

Excellent service. Answered and responded to any queries swiftly, carried out the job well. Collected in the south but needed carpetdelivered to Scotland. To save costs they were happy to store carpet until a time when they had a job up north and delivered at a convenient time. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this company enough. They were able to restore a large valuable silk and wool Persian rug into pristine condition after a huge leak from a radiator resulting in an horrendous orange stain. We have had all our oriental rugs cleaned and restored now by Carpet Clinic and they look stunning. The craftmenship, knowledge and efficiency is excellent. We wish we had found Carpet Clinic earlier as we have experienced dreadful damage to valuable rugs from people who say they knew how to clean rugs and ruin them. An amazing company with great staff. My beautiful Axminster stair runner is irreplaceable- modern carpets are not made this way but at more than 30 years old it was showing its age with extensive worn areas and some light snacking by moths. Carpet clinic have renovated it by hand and cleaned it so it looks completely new and the cost was less than buying a new carpet. My local carpet firm came round to take the carpet up and re-lay it after- they say they have never seen work like it. See the before and after pictures for the difference in the vibrancy of the colours following mending and cleaning. I can't work out which step the original photo was from, which demonstrates the calibre of the work. Full pricing is only available once the carpet has been taken to the workshop and that is explained carefully. Highly recommended.
