Usually got undisirables on it. Bad for travellers turning up in the summer and wrecking the place. Council should put bollards round to stop vehicle access(yearly issue fixed).

On rare occasions I get a takeaway meal from k2 and being a biker I find a.park bench and enjoy the meal. Never had any problems. I am from oswaldtwistle but did live on miller road early eighties. Could do with more benches and updating the ones in place. Bill.

It's a lovely green area. Unfortunately, a makeover by the Council I believe, has sterilised the real park feeling, they've cut away all the shrubbery which makes me wonder about the birds that used to nest and the squirrels cover. It's just too antisepticly clean. Not impressed with the vast lottery funding spent this way, personally speaking. However, a quick canvas around some people (not scientific evidence ) and some are in favour of the new look, with solar lighting as they feel safer in the evening times. I remain unconvinced.

It is okay, but needs some attention to bring to the standard as other parks in the area, example Moor Park, so gives equality for all residents.

A great place in a good location... It's suitable for everyone in the family & parking is available nearby... It's a nice large area to have a kick about or walk the dog .... Football is played here too by kids and adults... All round good place oh and has a good sized playground... Everyone happy.
