Cheap and simple fix for something that we thought would be a new screen.Booked via the website, answered a few simple questions. Then sent a photo of the actual chip / crater.They turned up. 20 mins later.... sorted without replacement.Amazing. Thanks.

Fast and efficient. My only criticism was the staff changed my car radio station and didn't change it back to my original channel, not a massive issue apart from my vehicle being a pain to tune the radio and almost impossible on the move.

Sloppy work, abysmal organisation, and still not fixed.Autoglass in Grantham were scheduled to replace my windscreen three weeks ago. As they don’t carry stock for my car I had to wait for the windscreen to be delivered. The original appointment was cancelled and I was called back a week later to reschedule once the new glass had arrived - this was scheduled for a week later (two weeks down now). At last week’s appointment they carried out the work and I noticed the glass had been fitted incorrectly which was confirmed by the technician one I called him back to discuss it. I didn’t receive a call from the branch’s admin person as promised to arrange making good the screen. I spoke to autoglass on the phone and they said I’d have to wait 7 days before having another appointment to rectify the problem to allow the original replacement to dry. This appointment was arranged. Once again I was rang back to say the glass was out of stock. The new appointment (this week) was arranged to account for the glass being delivered for the re-replacement. I was told even if the glass didn’t arrive the work will be carried out anyway - they said this was risky without a standby ready but it rarely went wrong so assured me it would be fine. I said I wanted a new windscreen on standby - they confirmed it was ordered and I’d get confirmation to let me know that the appointment would still go ahead.I received confirmation of the appointment yesterday. I arrived this morning and talked through the incorrect fitting with the technician who carried out the work last week incorrectly - he was helpful and agreed where it was fitted incorrectly. I left the car with them with the understanding that they would remedy the work but heard nothing from them. I came back 4 and a half hours later to find no work had been done to the car. The technician confirmed that they aren’t allowed to carry out remedy work unless they have standby piece of glass. No standby glass had arrived or been ordered and they had no record of the job on their system. The technician said the admin person would ring me tomorrow morning - I’m not confident to be honest. They also said I’d have my excess refunded - I’m sceptical also. On my way home I found they had left the bonnet on the latch and it nearly flipped up. Once I rang autoglass this afternoon they said even if they’d had the glass, which they hadn’t ordered, they didn’t order the trims either so wouldn’t have been able to carry out the re-replacement.After making my complaint I wanted to speak to customer service to discuss my feedback - they don’t even have a number for them - do they even exist? Now I’m moving house and have to theoretically wait for a new piece of glass to arrive in my new local branch to be rung up to make another appointment to have the work remedied. By the time this happens it’ll be 7/8 weeks after I initially booked an appointment.The only thing they did do correctly was install some new windscreen wipers - pretty sure I could have googled that anyway…I am utterly infuriated by this organisation and don’t believe anything they tell me on the phone or in person. I have no faith in them and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I picked up a bad scratch on my windscreen, days after picking the car up, don´t know where it came from but have had to get used to it. A couple of days ago we were in Halifax, came out in the morning to find a large crack in the windscreen. I must have picked up a stone chip and the cold weather did its work.Checked with my Insurance and they have a cooperation with Autoglass. I went onto the website to book an appointment near to where we live. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment was in four weeks which was not the best, but I booked it anyway.3 hours later, I received a phone call from a fabulous bubbly lady confirming my details and the appointment. I asked her to check if she could give me an earlier appointment. I thought the delay was because of the make of car and having to order the part in. She checked and offered me an appointment 2 days later.....which was excellent, Autoglass should clone her, she had brilliant social skills. She informed me what I needed to take to the appointment and promised to confirm everything in writing. Emails and texts informed me on various days what I needed to bring and the location of the depot.Arrived this morning, the location isn´t the best. Check-in was easy, I was greeted by David who said he would be replacing the screen. A pleasant, polite guy, who really put me at ease because the car is fitted with various sensors etc. which would need re-calibrating, I was very apprehensive. He took my details and checked my phone with a quick ring, I signed his phone (no paper) and off I went.Received a phone call from David approximately 4+ hours later informing me everything is finished and there were no problems with the replacement. I arrived, was greeted by David and he showed me around the car, inside and out......an excellent result!I´ve just received a follow-up call from Autoglass asking how the appointment went.I highly recommend the guys at Autoglass in Grantham.....really impressed. The process from initial contact until completion can only be highly praised.....First class.

Arrived to have my windscreen repaired they inspected the windscreen said yes it did need to be repaired but to go home and register for a home repair on the Internet got in the car and took it elsewhere. Why the TV advert they are not interested.
