Dapper Barber Shop

Took my son for a much needed haircut this afternoon. Didn't have to wait long, son very happy with cut and reasonably priced too.

Barber did my 2 year old boys hair, gave him his first proper little style, short back and sides long on top and a clean line down 1 side, not wonky at all and my little boy does not sit still. Superior patience, I was worried a man wouldnt have such patience but he's the best I've been to for my son and will go to from now on

Hands down best hair and beard cut I ever had. First time that Barber did exactly what I asked for.Ask for TOBY and you won’t be disappointed. Never before I had so many compliments about hair and beard style! And questions who is my barber.That’s why I’m Writing is review. On top of very good cut you’ll also have a great chat. And I seen a lot of barbers over the years and this one is THE BEST!I found my barber shop for ever now. Thank you TOBY.

I am currently in the process of suing the proprietor.I was a regular customer at the Dapper Barber shop since Toby first opened for business two years ago, and I couldn't have thought more highly of the guy. I always came away with a haircut I was happy with and he couldn't have been friendlier.However, it all went wrong when after being given the hard sell, a good friend was kind enough to pay £200 upfront for the laser hair treatment...Not content with always being left a tip and my never using the loyalty card - out of respect for the guy and a job well done - Toby likes to continually try and up-sell you additional products: Charcoal powder to cover up thinning hair, testosterone blocking pills, no brand Regaine spray, caffeine shampoo, and laser treatment were all offered to me.When I started the laser treatment - from day one; the safety glasses were broken, the lens's continually falling out.Despite promises that they would be repaired, and with me bringing it to Toby's attention, three months later and now with two broken lenses, there was still no sign of a repair, or of a new pair of glasses anywhere in sight.Gallingly he even tried upselling me additional products while I was still having to use the broken glasses.When I mentioned the broken glasses the final time - in exasperation - I was told:“I can get you some sellotape, but you probably won't be able to see much”.His shop is literally next door to both Wilkos and the Pound Shop!I eventually had to buy the super-glue myself to have the glasses repaired.As ever in this type of situation, the smiles and “friendliest barbershop in town” routine - that were in place whilst he was taking my money - disappear as soon as you have to make a complaint and ask for your money back.Asking only for the unused portion of my money to be returned to me. Things soon became unpleasant, and the excuses, justifications and outright lies followed...Toby claimed that I WAS offered an alternative pair of “sun-bed glasses”. This never happened.He made out in his text that the lens only fell out once, and had to be put back in place"

In so many words Rubbish ,the worst beard trim ever . Would say needing Glasses ,so aleast can cut in a straight line And it cost me more money to get corrected !!! So if like me you put alot into a beard would recommend not here. And prices well looking at these reviews people have left i can't justify any amount off money to come back...therefore one star

I went here today after not going to a barber's for about 10 years (used to go to a family member before moving) I'm a very nervous person and didn't know exactly what I wanted.I had a lot of hair and psoriasis on my scalp, I went prepared with a picture on my phone, I showed the Barber what I sort of wanted. He was like yep that's not a problem take a seat he talked me through everything making sure I was getting what I wanted and when I didn't know he gave me great advice. When having the haircut he found common ground very quickly with me and put my nerves at ease he was so warm and friendly and I don't think I'd ever go any where else again. You don't know how grateful I am.

This is by far the best barber experience I had so far. Boris is a great guy, very kind and easy to talk to. They take the time they need to make sure you are happy and makes you feel comfortable from the start. For only 9 pounds for a full hair cut you can't go wrong. He even was able to fix my hair after my last barber experience here in Boscombe who didn't take his time and rushed me through in about 5 minutes.He even gave me some advice and he clearly knew what he was doing. He has over 25 years of experience and you can notice that! Highly recommended.

Very upset as I took my little one to have a hair cut showed a picture of what I wanted and the lady done something totally different …. Short on the sides and long on the top she cut it all off leaving my little one in a very unpleasant state …. My child is autistic and struggles when things are different to what we decided …. Is crying not wanted to go to school ….. too much confidence of the barber maker her make a massive mistake leaving everybody upset …. I asked for something like the first picture and got what you see on the second picture

Dapper Barbers Shop is the best hair and beard cut in all Bournemouth and areas surrounding. Since ever the first time I walked in Chris always shaves me exactly as I tell him to.I always received compliments from friends and relative after visiting Dapper Barber Shop. I am writing this review as a regular satisfy customer and won't hesitate to suggest Dapper Barber Shop to whoever is looking for a reliable in the Area.Thank you very much for your great job to all the Team and keep being professional as you are.Owen
