Able Raw Dog Food

The food is amazing and my pup loves it. I'd go as far as saying that it is one of the best quality foods available in the UK market. Well packaged and with little plastic waste. Company website suggests that they are looking into removing non-recyclable plastic from the equation altogether which is great news. The customer service is helpful but you usually get an email reply next day and calls tend to go to voicemail. That aside, the food is 5 star!

Started off great. I always ordered non chunky for my two small Jack Russells. This last order has been appalling. Massive chunks in some packs over 2” square of pure gristle and small extremely sharp bones. My dogs cannot manage it and I resorted to sifting through it to find bits they could eat. Customer service is basically non existent despite emailing them.

The food itself was great, really can't fault it. The problem came when there was an issue with my subscription. I was sent 1 days worth of food because they've somehow messed up my subscription and then when I called their helpline" I got voicemail

My dog is a very fussy eater and goes off her food very quickly. This is the one brand of food that she will reliably eat. I’ve noticed her poos are a lot less runny, she has a lot less wind (she’s a frenchie so this can be a big issue) and she seems happy and healthy. The only annoying thing is that in order to change your food subscription details you have to manually go into your account and change all the orders that make up your subscription, but apart from that I’m happy with the company and will continue to feed my dog Able.

9 year old cross with signs of arthritis. Lots of research and chose Able, which came out top for nutrients. Dog loves it, 2 months after he has glossy coat, looking trim, cleaner teeth, fewer poos and always ready for his meal. The frozen portions are really convenient and I find the calorie guidelines useful. A little more expensive than the high end kibble he was on, but for quality of life and hopefully fewer vet visits, well worth it.

Alf loves it! He has been eating Able for almost a year and still gets excited at feeding time.It’s easy to order, always comes the next day and I love the single portion sizes - no mess, no leaks and it fits really well in the freezer draw!Meat seems good quality, the smell is fresh and there’s no huge chunks of bone like I have found in the meals of various other brands, which resulted in me spending ages trying to remove the little shards of bone before chucking the lot in the bin. This has never happened with Able!Really pleased with the service and quality overall. My dog looks very healthy, his coat is gleaming and he licks his bowl clean at every mealtime.

Recently switched to Able working dog food & our dog loves it. He gets so excited when it is dinner time! The meal size portions are really handy.Delivery always on time and still well frozen - highly recommended.

Superb balanced quality ingredients at a decent price and excellent delivery and pre-portioning. If you read about what goes into most other dog foods you'd go raw. My dog and everyone i know on it is so lean, healthy and happy. It's raw, defrost properly and wash bowl after. You're dog will love you for it and likely live a longer, happier and much healthier life due to it.

Excellent customer service they cannot do enough to help with order changes and advice. My bulldogs love their recipes and the quality is always superb. Easy to feed portion sizes for all breeds and palates. Empty bowls every time. Feed calculator on website helps determine your dogs daily intake. Highly recommend this company.
