The Needles Children & Family Centre

This family centre has free play sessions suitable from babies to toddlers. Each session consists of different activity stations looking at different types of play and sensory stimulation. The session is free flow ending with nursery rhymes. The centre also offers cheap supplies of toothpaste, sippy cups etc. Remember to bring your own coffee and snacks as none are supplied.

This centre has very good play rooms and outside play areas for small babies and toddlers. They also give advice and volunteering opportunities if necessary.

Love this place, excellent way to meet people and to learn new ways to entertain your children at home. Really friendly staff and people who attend, also really helpful staff if ever needing advice, my daughter loves coming to any play and learn or stay and play sessions. The needles has a really nice big garden area to with plenty of ride on and balancing toys.

My wife & I took our son for his development review and were very impressed with the location, the facilities on site and the friendly staff. Chelsea was with us for an hour and was very thorough, kind and professional in her assessment, detailing the red flags and advising us of who to call & when. Thank you very much :)

I've been going to this location for years on and off with my children.I miss the play and learn sessions but it still have a fabulous sensory room to hire for 45 minutes at a time (just ring or email to book) and a lovely outside play area.They have toilet facilities. They offer other things like weigh in clinic and sen sessions and probably more I don't know too much about. The ladies we've come across as always lovely.It's about a 5 minute walk from the far end of sainsbury's car park/waitrose and a newsagents opposite.Parking is limited in the car park attached but you can park where the zone ends and a short walk.

We go here to use the sensory room for our 10 month old. Been going every other week for the past couple of months. Really good to go to and free. They also do the 10 month checks here as well.

Fantastic place for you and your baby. A lot of support from qualified staff and good place to meet people with same age babies so you can make new friends.

Close to nursery and wonderful inside.
