The Hole Body Tattoo & Piercing Parlour

Got a smiley piercing done a little while ago and after about a week the swelling was so bad, worse than it should be anyway and I had ulsters around the piercing because the jewellery was really cheap and had actually tarnished and was causing me so much pain well after 2 to 3 weeks maybe even a month so much that I had to take it out. When it was pierced it seemed to take longer than it should and straight after he made me rinse with mouthwash and told me to continue after as aftercare which I have recently found out is a complete no for a smiley piercing and I have also been told by another piercer that it was pierced so high it was on start of my lip and that’s why it bled so much and why it caused so much pain. I would not recommend.

Great people and very helpful and a great experience

I got a tattoo not too long ago on my forearm. They seem to be pretty busy so they do forget you for a bit after you request an appointment so it's best to message them early when they open. I waited like 2 weeks for a last minute appointment (literally offered me the appointment 30 minutes before it). They're decently professional and also take cleaning precautions. My artist was Anthony. He makes sure you're comfortable at all times and is extremely friendly. They don't seem to communicate with eachother that well though. Anthony had just started working there 3 weeks before my appointment so maybe that's why but he didn't have any idea what price to quote me after the tattoo was done because no one had told him how the prices worked. It was pretty expensive for something pretty small when a price was quoted, it was £120. Also, they don't take card, they only take cash which they didn't tell me beforehand so I had to run out to the atm after the tattoo was done to get cash. Overall though, the tattoo is good and the people were very nice so I would definitely recommend Anthony to people looking to get a tattoo.

The Hole Body tattoo is the loveliest tattoo studio I've ever been into. The staff are friendly and quickly set you at ease. The work is professional. The focus is on the individual and seeing to his or her needs.

Was too aggressive with my nose piercing which meant it never healed, uneven ear piercings and just unhelpful in general.

Ive got my first piercing by Ricky done in 1998. I have returned to him time and time again (including a few times recently) for all of my piercings. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else as I feel Ricky is very knowledgeable and has been piercing longer than anyone else about. He always makes you feel relaxed, and explains the procedure and aftercare in great detail. He also sells a wide range of body jewellery for when your piercing is ready to be changed. Ricky will never be forced to go trigger happy (much to my disappointment at times wanting multiple piercings) it isn't about the money for him. He seems to genuinely have a passion for what he does, which is why he is still around doing what he does long after everyone else has been and gone.

I brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced. The gentleman who pierced her ears did a beautiful job. Very friendly and clearly explained to her how to take care of her ear piercings. I went back the following week and had my nose re-pierced. 4 weeks on, neither my daughter nor I have had any problems with our piercings. Gorgeous studio- clean, bright and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
