West Essex Golf Club

First time there. Lovely entrance to club house & grounds. Was attending a wedding evening. Parking was easy. entrance was well kept & venue was excellent for a wedding. Staff done a great job. Well done to everyone associated to the club.

Visited as a guest at a wedding reception. What a fantastic venue! Great facilities, attentive staff and situated in an idyllic setting with great views over Epping Forest. Highly recommended.

Update: Something needs to be done about the members who walk in front of the green for hole 13 after teeing off on hole 14. Absolute joke to walk in front of our green as we are chipping up to it. No reason to do so, just walk behind ALONG THE PATH THAT IS THERE FOR YOU TO USE!Lovely course with a fantastic practice area. Decent food and bar/restaurant. Play was slow after a 4 ball jumped in front of us on hole 10 (we were a two ball). We weren't stopping for refreshments and they came from the halfway house as we were turning the buggy round. Then did not let us play through at all so that was very frustrating.

Quality driving range and practice putting/chipping green. Had lunch with a friend at the clubhouse which had a nice atmosphere. Definitely plan on returning to play the course

West Essex ladies hosted an afternoon tea today for Tea &Tunes. We were treated like royalty. So many happy smiling faces. Everyone up dancing to the excellent young band Snare and having fun. Thank you so much for hosting this event. Val x

A golf course with a tale of two halves - The first half is a short but tight track with no real stand out holes apart from maybe the 2nd which has a tight and blind tee shot. From home 9 onwards the track really comes into it's own. The fairways and greens were in great condition with only a few dry patches around some areas. I played during a twighlight time and the course was relatively quiet. Would play again.

We held a 100th birthday party for my mum. I couldn't fault anything about the day. Great venue, great food and above all great staff.

I held a service development day at west Essex golf club. Perfect location as colleagues were coming from all around the south east. Near to M25 and M11; also great access to london train network 5 minutes away. Great facilities, buffet and all we needed for the day. All the team loved it. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic course with a great team.A previous neck injury stopped me half way round and the staff could not have been more helpful, picking me up from the course and getting me back to to clubhouse would have been enough, but they made sure my clubs were put safely back in my car, helped me with an ice pack on my neck and made sure I was OK to drive before letting me leave.Thank you and I hope to return soon once fully recovered.
