A very good range of kitchen units with all the accessories. There are no high pressure salesmen, so you can look round at your leisure with assistance if needed. The only issue us that they do not have sufficient display area.

We are improving our kitchen spending at least £20k. Have been to lots of places who really helped, Howdens is the only trade only place we went to, and our builder said they will help you. He is a great builder but was so wrong about howden being helpful. Sarcastic, no advice, only questions. Might be great product but awful customer service. If you want to be treated with respect, talk to your builder and let them deal with howdens,

Excellent friendly shop. Spencer the kitchen designer is excellent and Sam really friendly. Actively like going into the store which is odd for me. Really happy with my kitchen and general service.

Had an entire new kitchen from Howdens. Cheaper than magent or wren, but still not cheap. Design process was good, staff were friendly. However delivery was Terrible, came in three lots over more than two weeks meaning our fitter could not start until all cupboards delivered. Then we find not everything had been ordered correctly and had to chase...then told yes that *we the customer* only ordered the door for that cupboard...so it our fault for not ordering the sides and back of a cupboard when we the customer said yes we want that cupboard.Then we found that the measurement of our space was slightly off meaning the parts delivered would not all fit. Apparently the cupboards not fitting is again the customers problem to fix. When told about it, I was told they measured correctly and the cupboards would fit...that was the extent of Howdens help. Definitely would NOT recommend howdens for a new kitchen. All that cost and left unhappy with the end product through what appears basic measuring mistake and no ownership taken... Just told to get my kitchen fitter to fix it, o ly so much he can do if things measured and ordered incorrectly.

The food is very good quality, we had the blade of beef with horseradish mash which was cooked to perfection and the service was good.Highly recommend.

Hi , all a word of caution. On flooring for howdens is coming apart on the joints one of there manager came to look and take pictures and after 2 week I phoned them they told me that the flooring was laid incorrectly laid and shouldt be put on top of tiles and not a manufacturer's fault .

Terrible experience with the women on the phone. They are SO rude and condescending. I have called up multiple times and get the same patronising tone each time. Baring in mind I have an account with them, I once asked the woman on the phone to give an approx. price per m2 for a kitchen - this was my first time ordering from Howdens and I know other kitchen places like Magnet and Wren offer this service. Instead of educating me on Howden's process and how they work (she would see it's a new account and I've never placed an order before), she laughed at me and said that's not possible. When I questioned her further and even said can you just advise which ones are the more expensive kitchens then and which ones are on the cheaper end (which I know now should have been possible as other Howden's supplied this info later down the line), she said bluntly 'I can't make up a price out of thin air'. I decided to purchase the kitchen from another Howden's further away from me just so I didn't have to deal with her again.Most recently, I needed a 2040 x 826 interior door. I called them up and spoke with another woman on the phone (may have been the same one as previously - I didn't catch either of their names) to check if it was in stock. She said to me that Howden's don't sell any 2040 x 826 doors?!?! I said I can see the one I want on the website in the correct size, I just need you to check if it's in stock in your warehouse and she refused saying that Howden's don't sell that size and that the website is wrong?! I called up another Howden's and they confirmed that Howden's supply that size door and they have the exact one I want in stock. I called Solihull back up and spoke to the same woman and out of courtesy let her know that Howden's do supply that door in that size for future reference in case another customer asks for it. She sarcastically said 'ok bye' and hung up!! Such a strange woman. I have no idea why she chose a job in customer service when she's awful at it and why she was even employed to begin with. I have now switched my account to a different Howden's which is much further away but they have a wonderful, professional team. I would urge anyone thinking about using this store to choose a different one instead.
