ScS - Sofas, Flooring & Furniture

Bought a layZboy sofa from Wrexham, assured it was excellent quality. The foot board on the recliner snapped within a couple months. Not covered by either of the warranties I have, SCS are adamant we broke it through 'excessive force' so wont repair without charging us. Its practically brand new and just snapped when I pushed it down with my feet. Absolutely fuming at the product quality and the appalling attitude from customer services. Nobody in store could help.I understand furniture can be faulty or go wrong but after spending hundreds you expect to be able to reach a resolutionDefinitely avoid in future

Sales process was really good, we were left to browse the Wrexham store. Sales advisor was was very knowledgeable and helped us to narrow down our choices. Bought in the sale, so price was good too. After sales has been OK, did not receive any order confirmation or receipt immediately. Had to call customer services 3 days after placing order to chase.

This was the first time we've used SCS and we were most impressed! The service we received was excellent - helpful, knowledgeable, unhurried, and attentive without being at all pushy. Comprehensive range of furniture in stock from top suppliers - we're very happy new customers!

Firstly was great to be able to walk round the store feeling safe,after only being able to view online. Staff really helpful and let us view items freely. And when we asked something there was no hesitation on the answer. Very knowledgeableWe now can't wait for our furniture to be delivered

Be very careful when purchasing from this company! Myself and my partner spent nearly £3000 in the scs store in Wrexham on a single sofa and a set of table and chairs. When they were delivered, the chairs to the table were wobbly and unstable and missing feet. We put this down to a mishap in transition from the shop to delivery. When we rang up to make them aware we were gobsmacked to be told these were sold as seen and scs were not liable. We felt cheated as we trusted the store and did not go around sitting on all six chairs as we were purchasing these brand new and not second hand, and if this was the case 'sold as seen' we should have been made aware by the salesmanif there was a problem. The complaint was made well within the guarantee period. Despite disputing this the salesman would not waver and stood by his claim that they were sold as seen. We find this to be dishonest and shocking from such a reputable store. We are now left with wobbly chairs with missing feet and feel ripped off after spending a lot of money. Beware!! This company do not care about customer satisfaction and only care about commission!

Really good service when we ordered our suite no pressure sales, very knowledgeable regarding the delivery as we were worried about getting it into our flat. Can't wait for delivery now.Also felt very comfortable regarding the measures put in place regarding Covid. Excellent all round experience.

Buyer Beware!!!Ordered our suit on Boxing Day 2021 and still haven't received it on 13th June 2022. We did receive another suite which we hadn't ordered and was substandard so refused to accept it. We were told it would be replaced but nothing has been done to rectify the problem and have been waiting for months for a solution. Have spent many hours on phone and in store trying to get my money back. SCS agreed to a full refund once the suite was collected but they have failed to turn up for the collections arranged and we have wasted days waiting in for them. Do not buy from this company. Lying comes as second nature to their sales staff and after care service personelle.

We booked an online slot to visit the store. Once at the entrance of the store, the one way system was explained to us, and hand sanitiser was offered to us.The store was quiet and we were able to browse,, uninterrupted. When we were ready to speak with a sales person, she came over to us, and answered the questions we had for her. The sales person we dealt with, Gaynor Forde-Holland, was super! She was knowledgeable but not at all pushy. We bought a 3 piece suite, when actually the purpose of our visit was to look at what was available !! Thank you to SCS Wrexham for making it a pleasurable and safe experience for us to shop as a family,, following the lockdown.

Order a three piece Corner suite Lazy boy from SCS Wrexham back in March, came 6 weeks early thought great! When the delivery drivers brought it in and started putting it together what a shambles, £3000 suite couldn't get it connected into each other came in 3 standard parts,where it should of been separate, cut long story short damaged wasn't the word and different shades of grey and certainly wasn't the one we ordered from the start! Delivery drivers went we went back to SCS Wrexham we spoke with Claire the sales manager attitude well let's say the least disgusting, wouldn't take responsibility, we were then pushed from pillar to post! Customer services then back to the store,we then had to wait another 12weeks for a new suite, few weeks on we eventually ordered the right suite and again came early. Excatly the same damaged and different greys but on the bonus side right suite, goes back down to SCS Wrexham and again fighting who is goner take responsibility, yet again we were told it wasn't their problem and to phone the aftercare team, on which we did and again was told to go back to the store, showed the store manager all the photos from the first one to the 2nd one and he was like wow! We were then told Head Office would get on touch with is in the next 72hours! Well never happened and nearly 2 weeks on and still fighting, in the end myself & my husband went back to store demanding a refund, we were then waiting on a date for collection which again we had to fight for I just wanted the sofa removed out of my property, we are now currently sat on deck chairs waiting on a new suite in which weve ordered from somewhere else! between SCS Wrexham. customer services & Head Office appalling show no remorse not even a sorry for the inconvenience they have coursed, from ordering a new suite back in March, we are now Oct and I've still got no suite, I will never ever foot step into SCS again and will tell people not to buy from there, service we have recieved shocking doesn't come close to it! Put it this way Wrexham sales staff need a good shake up weve learnt Store manager has now left there!
