Always friendly, good service and a good haircut at a reasonable price

Great bunch of Guys, but if you want a quick haircut, this isn't the place. Minimum waiting time has gone from about 40mins to an average minimum of 2hrs. The last 6 times have steadily gotten longer and longer, and the last attempt I just gave up.However, I will say, for atmosphere and conversation, 2nd to none, if you have the time.

Guys, just a heads up for you....I know you close the door early because of customers waiting but why say you are open till 5 .Turned up at 4:24 today and the door was locked.

Amway's get my hair cut there. Appointment not needed turn up and wait. There are 6 Barbers there . You'll get seen in no time.

I have used Adies on a number of ocassions now.The barbers are always friendly, welcoming and will always spark up conversation with you and make you feel comfortable whilst cutting your hair to a great standard in a timely manner - often I have been able to get in for a haircut on my lunch break and still have time to eat. On a Saturday there can sometimes be quite a wait but this is down to the popularity of Adies and not a lack of barbers so get there early.Prices are reasonable compared to some other barber shops around Bury St Edmunds: £9 for a cut and reduced prices for OAP's Monday's to Thursday's.I would point out that Adies isn't wheelchair friendly as it has stairs leading down into the shop.Overall, great barber shop with friendly staff at a reasonable cost - would recommend.
