Lovely little find after being let down by another local pub in Pebley. Landlady and staff very friendly and managed to squeeze us in at the last minute for Sunday dinner. My husband and I had roast beef which was great as were the perfectly cooked vegetables. We really appreciated them being so accommodating as we were half way home on a 250 mile journey.

We had the Beef dinner, was excellent proper yorkshire pudding and plenty of vegetables. Lovely staff, really made us welcome. A real Gem of a place we found by accident

What a gem of a pub! We managed to get a table for 2 for Sunday lunch at short notice, but not because they weren't busy, just kind enough to fit us in around despite having a large family party at the same time. We both had roast beef Sunday lunch and it was one of the best I can remember having in a long, long time. Traditional home cooked and very good food as well as well kept ale. Also very friendly service. Can't recommend highly enough.Thanks very much!David
