The Galley

I ordered one item from the menu and received a cheaper one, the burger was not assembled just spread out on top of the bun which was drenched in oil, the burger was full of oil. I ordered extra onion rings but received chips instead. The chips with my burger were cold and soggy and even the onion rings that I did get were soggy. I will not be using them again. Disappointed.

If you enjoy throwing your food in the microwave and/or oven as it turns up lukewarm then go ahead this is the place for you.Edit: The food was horrendously greasy and left a lingering taste in my mouth that I did not find amusing.Delivery is on point however and the only reason for the 2 stars.We won't be ordering again and will advise our friends and family not to as well.Edit & reply;I'd like to thank the 'resturant' - And I use the term lightly - For taking the time to reply to me. Thankfully this tells me and anyone taking the time to read it all they need to know.Given that I am just over a mile away and you're not delivering on foot but instead in a car I would expect the food to arrive at the very least 'hot' perhaps not piping hot but hot nonetheless. I have had things delivered from Newport (5 miles away) delivered 'piping hot' - There's not really any excuse.Unfortunately despite what The Galley may think I am not attempting to remove jobs or my support from the community which is quite the wild accusation! Instead I am merely expressing my opinion of which I am entitled to.I have since edited this to 1 star as apparently I should keep my opinions to myself which completely removes the point of a review in the first place.

Absolutely disgusting!Waited an over hour for the food. Half of the orders didn't turn up. Got some food we didn't order. The chicken was very tough and dry. Hardly any cheese on the cheesy chips. Burger buns badly burnt. Called the shop to say about the missing orders and when they came back with it there were still items missing.Delivery driver very apologetic which was nice but it wasn't his fault.Won't be trying this place again as too many things wrong.

Had doner meat and chips and chicken & bacon wrap & cheesy chips delivered last week. Quick service, food delicious and lovely and hot.Very happy, will definitely be using as our regular :)

My husband and I grabbed burgers and chips on the way home the other evening and they were very nice. Will definitely be back, staff were nice and friendly too and we didn't have to wait very long for our food to be ready.

Kabab bread was stale very little sauce on it and burgers very basic no sauce even when selected. Food was ok but was expecting a bit more value for money

Portion size has become terrible in recent years. £27 for 3 kebab meat and chips. 2 large and 1 regular. The large" came in a small polystyrene container and was not what i consider large. The regular sizw came in a burger box. Not value for money anymore i am afraid which is a shame. I like to order locally but i won't be anymore from here as it is a rip off. Ordered from newport and portion size was much better for the same price."
