McCarthy Stone - Head Office

AVOID AT ALL COSTSa morally bankrupt company.we bought a house owned by McCarthy stone which was a trade in for an elderly lady for one of their flats ,our offer was accepted with a memorandum of sale solicitors were appointed, proof of funds given, id checks done, our buyers were also very keen to move in we were in the process of packing everything and booked a removal company. so the whole timescale for completion was around 6 weeks everything was going to plan.Until McCarthy stone decided to accept another offer from someone else gazumping us, and did not even have the decency to let us know we had to hear it from a sales management team from another company after a week of calling various branches/offices of MS we did get an explanation that they only wanted cash buyers great WHY NOT SAY THAT IN THE BEGINNING and be honest with us buying a house is stressful enough without having double dealers around you, i would have got the extra 100k to cover it if i had known that is what was needed, AWFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH no morals no thoughts for anyone their only concern is MONEY,MONEY,MONEY.

It has been an absolute pleasure working on and off for Mccarthy Stone over the past 5 years. Every member of staff I have had the pleasure of speaking with has always been friendly, professional and always happy to help with any queries that I might have.
