I contacted Mr Alkhaffaf regarding a long standing acid reflux disorder I had. Mr Alkhaffaf was very easy to speak to and clearly explained all of the options open to me. After a lot of my own research, I opted to accept the recommendation of Linx surgery at the Spire Manchester Hospital.I was looked after very well throughout the entire stay at the hospital, Mr Alkhaffaf came to see me before surgery and then again after to explain what he had done and what to expect. Recovery took around 6 months which was largely uneventful, I honestly think this was a direct result of Mr Alkhaffaf's experience and care throughout to ensure any post operative side effects would be at a minimum.Thanks to both Mr Alkhaffaf and to his secretary Kay for all their support and assistance.

Mr. Alkhafaff did my gastric sleeve surgery on Monday 13th June 2022.He is amazing ! I would highly recommend Dr Bilal Alkhaffaf for anyone who is considering him, along with his personal assistant Kay they make an exceptional team - very professional, fast to respond and just always there when ever I required.I had suffered with Acid reflux for over 15+ years prior, and had been passed around through the NHS from hospital to hospital, told one thing then another and just left at my absolute wits end as to how to progress. On intially meeting Dr Alkhaffaf, he provided me with the reassurance I had been seeking all this time, explaining to me the likley hood as to why I was experiencing my symptoms and what options I had - he didnt take the NHS reports word for it and conducted his own checks around my condition - this turned out to further highlight a mistaken diagnosis made whilst I was in NHS care. Following the tests/scans etc, I discussed with Dr Alkhaffaf around the options moving forward, with the opinion of continuing taking Omeprazole not being in my best interest. We agreed for me to have Fundolpication surgery. I was nervous around having the surgery, just with thoughts of it not working out, messing about with my insides etc - all the common thoughts. Any time I had questions, I was able to speak to Dr Alkhaafaf and he addressed any concerns I had and provided further reassurance. Come the operation I recieved exceptional care at the Spire Hospital in Manchester. The surgery was quick and I was back in my room a couple of hours later. Recovery following this surgery takes time and commitment, you have to be strict with the diet and there is uncomfort with gas etc, but so absolutely worth it. Very early on I knew my heartburn/acid reflux symptoms had completly gone so no more meds required to control that. I have lost over 2 stone which granted is due to the surgery but has been a huge boost to my well being. I really am so happy I progressed with the surgery and couldnt have asked for any better care than what I recieved - anyone who proceeds with Dr Alkhaffaf can be assured they are in extremely good hands.
